Step 1 Sole Source New team HARDCORE HOTTIES!!!

Aw you've really been through the wringer health wise. Take time to recover properly, it's not worth the risk. Glad your blood pressure is under control, and I hope your gall bladder settles down too. Hope you're back to full health ASAP!!! Keep popping in to let us know how you're doing, we missed you. Take care xxx

So good to hear from you Slim! Sorry its not in better circumstances, but I have been thinking about you a lot in your absence. Sorry to hear you have been in hospital, that really sucks, but sounds like you are finally on the mend.

I want some skinny jeans!! I have never owned a pair in my life and I want some. I am going to get my big old butt into some skinny jeans if it kills me!! That is my goal.

Sounds like a plan, I want skinny jeans too!

Come to the conclusion Lily that you are stalking me ;) I wonder on to a top and in my blunt, hamfisted way, make a comment, which you promptly follow up with a far more well worded, political answer to what I was trying to say haha! Today I have seen it all on another forum, with someone now paying for taxi's to work every day as her CDC apparently told her that she MUST NOT do any exercise AT ALL, EVER, on this diet, and should only walk the absolute minimum amount she can, or the diet won't work. (She was complaining that CD is costing her so much now she has to pay for taxis to get everywhere). I think I have finally heard it all now!!!!!

Damn, I've been rumbled. ;) :D

On that post I almost wrote "Hey, don't dispute what Cazza says - no need to check!" - I will next time. :) Love the taxis - not seen that post yet!

I despair really. All of these CWPCs have supposedly "done the training" but the amount of duff advice that's bandied around is unbelievable. :sigh:

Oh, and Sal? I want skinny jeans too!

And Slim! Missed your post earlier! So glad to hear from you - we were worried!

Sending lots of normal blood tests vibes. :vibes:

Just realised... today is the (end of) day 49!!!! 7 weeks done! Did I mention I have decided to go veggie? Not that we are eating a whole lot right now anyway lol! I don't have an issue with eating meat as such, I do have a huge issue with the whole modern meat industry and the processing of meat, and the whole horsemeat thing has really bought it to a head for me! Again, I have no issue with eating horse meat as such, I would just like to know what it is I am eating! I am not making Chloe follow a veggie diet, though she doesn't really like meat all that much anyway. I did give her quorn "chicken" nuggets tonight without telling her, just to see if she spotted the difference, and she declared them the best chicken nuggets she has ever eaten! Excellent :D I have used quorn mince rather than beef mince for years for things like bolognese as I actually prefer it. Sorry, more random waffle from me!

Interesting! Don't think I'd do well as a veggie though. I'm not fond of quorn.

I find myself almost relieved by the horsemeat thing. Probably explains why I haven't got mad cow disease... :D

I could never manage as a veggie! Quorn plays havoc with my bowels for starters, bloats me up beyond belief, it's so painful. Took a long time to learn my lesson with it though. No, I'll stick to my horse burgers I think. I'm not bothered by it all really which worries me a bit. But then I grew up in South Africa and ate a whole range of disgusting things, mmmm biltong! Half the time you have no clue what the heck meat that is but it's tasty.

I seem to have good old Sunday night insomnia back again. Not had it for a long time, but typical I'm wide awake tonight because I've got an early start and a 12 hour shift tomorrow, fun!!

Earlier my friend came round for a cuppa, her dad is interested in buying next door, that would be fab. So we've done a spot of trespassing and gone peeping in the windows (it's empty, for anyone who missed the "Missing Neighbours" saga). Not a bad little house but mine is nicer ha ha.

So right now I'm staring at the telly wondering whether to just switch everything off and count sheep or whether to read to try and bring on sleep.

Quiet here today!

I just made a huge error... I think I took 4 dulcolax instead of 2 dulcolax and 2 buscopan (period cramps)!!! Just grabbed the packet and took 2 tablets, grabbed another packet and took 2 tablets... then 20 minutes found the buscopan...

Not much of a nurse when it comes to organising my own tablets!

Guess I will know in a few hours!!!! Don't think I will take a sleeping tablet tonight

Maybe the co-codamol will slow down the explosion a little...

Oh my.... Yikes! You could be in for an interesting night!

It's jolly quiet everywhere on the Cambridge bit of the forum. :(

Oh dear god!!! Can't believe you did that, won't help your cramps at all!!! Hope it's not too bad.

My legs are killing me. I have been on my feet all day, I have only sat down at lunch time for half an hour, they feel really heavy and crampy. Sometimes I hate 12 hour shifts (like when you don't get a break at all). I'm nights again tomorrow boo, but my lovely colleague has swapped my night shift on Monday next week for a 9-9 which is waaaay better in my book!

Diet still going well, can't believe it's 7 weeks in already, where has the time gone?? 3more lbs to lose and it's 2st gone!! If I can do that before the end of the month I'm on track for a stone a month which is all I ask.

Sorry you're hurting hun. Not nice. I know I couldn't stand up for that long these days - my back hurts just sitting for a few hours at a time - so you have my complete admiration for managing to keep going!

Yes, week 7, eh? it's such a relief to have got this far. I was starting to think it just wasn't possible to do this diet properly again but I'm so pleased to be wrong.

Not sure I could've done it without you both though, so thank you x x :flowers:

Aww daft woman :p

Well... I slept all night. Looks like I didn't mix the tablets after all, but quite concerned that two dulcolaz hasn't produced even a rumble in my tummy overnight. Grr.

So tired and don't want to go to work as today is envelope stuffing and label printing ready to send out all the review paperwork. Good news is though we aren't due to finish until Friday but should be finished tomorrow, if not today :D so planning to take a day or two of leave at the end of the week. (We have a leave embargo February and March so only chance I will get!)

4lb off this week. Considering the PMT and non-movin toilet issues thanks to co-codamol, I'm happy with that! Makes me exactly 300lb...

Aw Lily!! I think you're right, I couldn't have got this far without this thread!! It's been a life saver, no matter how rough I've felt these last few weeks its picked me up and stopped me from going off the rails like I would normally have done. I'm now starting to feel better, all those crappy hormones are out of my system, the throat infection/cough senna to be almost gone too. I'm still tired a lot but that'll get better once the infection is completely gone.

I'm going to see the pill nurse on Thursday, did blood pressure again yesterday and it was low for me 117/49  did it again and 126/80 so still all perfectly normal the only thing that might present an issue is my BMI of 32. It's soooo close to 30. I made the appointment for Thursday because I know the nice one works Thursdays and there's only one in this Thursday so I'm hoping its her, fingers crossed!!!!!
