New to SW and stuck already!!

Hello, when ever i have tried to go at these diets alone, i never can. If i know im not going to get weighed i just fall off track. Where as when i know i am, im excited to lose. If that makes sense.

I'm doing extra easy most of the time, but today I'm having a green day, so I can take advantage of the extra HexB on bread:)

I'm gonna see how it goes with the group and give it time to improve. Otherwise me plan B is to use my coffee morning that I usually have on Weds after group with my friends as a weigh-in, get one of those saving tins that you have to open with a tin-opener 7 save for a w'end away, clothes splurge, jewellry. I just begrudge paying €9 a class when I'm not getting much from it iykwim.
 
Yeh, i do see what you mean. I stay for the meetings, i feel this helps me but you have to do whatever is right for you. I too am having a green day today. I lost 5lb at my 1st weigh in yday, so it does work.. Keep going.

Ps thats a brill idea about the tin. Im going to put away £5 for what i lost yesterday i think & so on for every lb i lose. X
 
Food diary, never posted one before but here goes.......

B:3 Quorn sausages (3 syns), 2 eggs,scrambled with mushrooms, tomato and onion, seasoned with black pepper

L: 2 wholemeal buns (2 HexB) with 45g Mozarella (HexA), tomato, lettuce & 2 meat free tesco burgers (2 syns) & SW BBQ sauce

D: Quorn chicken style pieces stirfried with veg & SW BBQ sauce with a large salad

I also kept a jar of the BBQ sauce to use as a condiment, got recipe from here. Have a large bowl of chopped fruit in the fridge to snack on throughout the day. Also using a litre water bottle to remind myself to drink water.
 
Well done.. I didnt know quorn sausages are syns. I thought they were free, all last week i was eating them thinking they were free oooops :( atleast i know now.

Diary looks good. Is the sw bbq sauce any good??

Im having a green day today & ive had:

B - beans & 2 eggs on toast (hexb)

L- mugshot followed with pineapple & melon

D- jacket potato with 30g red leicester(hexa) 115g tuna (hexb) large salad .

Ive got a bowl of frozen berries to have soon, topped with fat free greek yoghurt mixed with a white chocolate option powder (2 syns)

I was going to have ee day tomoz but ive just read somewhere i have to keep to green now for the week.. :( do you know if this is correct??

Oh my consultant has told us we could do a different plan each day, but I will confirm this with her on Weds. I have about 2-3 Green days a week and the rest are extra easy.

Got the BBQ sauce recipe from here and its delish, use it to replace jar sauces and ketchup. I've also made red onion chutney, syn-free, a bit like branstons pickle, chilli sauce and the mushy pea curry. Coz I'm mad for sauces but hate to spend me syns on them when I can have bread or sweet treats:)
 
Im the same, i hate using my syns on sauces etc.
I think im going to email my leader & ask her just to make sure. Im pretty sure u can change each day but now ive seen that it'll be in the back of my mind until i know for sure :(
The onion chutney sounds nice. Where did you get the recipe? Xx
 
I have just asked the question on here and someone replied that you can swap days as much as you want, just cant swap half way through the day :) thats good news x

I'm by Stamford - not too far! Was in Leicester training earlier this week!!!

Got a BBQ tomoro but they girl is on slimming world too so will bring pasta and quorn burgers!! Il make my scrummy brownies for all the boys too! Not fair!!!

I had a biscuit/cake thing at work the other day completely forgetting I was on a diet!!! I ate one had half the second then I spit it out!! Haha makes me giggle still!

That's great that we can mix days up, keeps you from getting bored.

I got the onion chutney recipe on here too and was real simple to make, keeps well in the fridge.

I find I'm eating loads on this plan because I'm making a concious effort to plan. I tend to shop and batch cook a couple of meals after the weigh-in on Weds, when I'm feeling inspired:) Means I always have something quick to microwave in a hurry, whereas before I'd eat rubbish while waiting for food to cook.

Where as before i was having completely seperate food all together on weight watchers.

Ive just had yummy frozen berries, with fat free greek yoghurt ontop mixed with a white options hotchocolate powder. It was niceeee, i won all the ingredients at my sw meeting yday on the raffle. I would never had thought of it :)

Oh I must try that, but havn't seen the white options anywhere, I'm in the Midlands in Ireland so no Asda, Sainsburys or Morrisons, might have better luck when I'm in Dublin next week.

Yeah that was a major drawback to WW, cooking seperate meals was a pain, can cook for everyone on this.

I started to feel like i was the only one struggling with ww, and feeling crappy about weight etc. but looking through here its nice knowing its not just me :)

No you're not on your own, thats the beauty of this site, so WeightWatchers wasn't the answer but I think we might do better with Slimming World, so onwards and upwards:D
 
I do EE - this will slowly work I think red and green are quicker but I like a variety!!

How'd your BBQ go?

Quorn sausages are 1syn each & burgers are 1/2syn. I love quorn, use these and the mince and chicken style pieces for meals on green days.

I'm not finding alcohol much of a prob, but girls in my glass recommend making white wine or martini spritzers with diet 7up. My problem area is Cadburys chocolate, once I get a taste for it I go crazy for it, so avoiding it & replacing it with Rocky Road bars from group and fruit, I've had the odd breakout but find I lose the taste if I stay off it :).

Keep seeing giant bars of those new Cadburys Marvellous bars calling uot to me in supermarket but sooo far I've abstained.

BBQ went okay - I didnt drink! Had salad with my sausages - was very impressed! I have gone over syns today by having some of my home made very chocolatey very sugary brownies only a small amount but in sure that's like a weeks syns! Haha! Still feel hungry tho but iv had a banana! Xx
