Hey, welcome! Good luck for your first day :) I stick to mealtimes for my packs so it doesn't feel weird when I come off. Shake for breakfast and lunch then bar for dinner! Just stay hydrated and you'll be fine!

Thanks :)
Bit nervous but excited. I have been cutting out the junk i used to eat for a few weeks so that will hopefully help.

That should help, I've read cutting down carbs before is also a great help! What are you plannin on having for your first meal?

Think i will have a shake...not sure which flavour tho, any suggestions?
Would like to lose 2 stone ideally, im still harbouring the baby fat from having my daughter.
Hows ur progress been?

I have banana for breakfast, it tastes breakfasty lol I used to have vanilla too and I see lots of people have that one with coffee in.

Progress has been good, no gains or sts yet which has been motivating :)

Good luck for your first day!

I go for mealtimes too, though I usually have the bar for breakfast, the shake for lunch, then a soup for dinner. I'm on day 3 now, and i've tried both bars, the chocolate and strawberry shakes, and the thai chicken and tomato soup. So far the only thing I haven't really liked has been the chocolate and orange bar, but I had for the second time today, and actually found I liked it more.. Can't decide if it's my taste that's changed, or I was just so hungry i'd eat anything!

I found day 2 really hard as I felt hungry and ridiculously grumpy, but day 3 is going so much better! I feel so positive, I now know it's worth sticking to even if there's a bad bit. I read that after day 3 it's meant to be easier, so hopefully that's it from here. My only advice so far would be to keep water to hand throughout the day. I take a couple of bottles into work so that I can make sure I drink enough, and it also gives me the option of having a drink instead of rushing off and buying some crisps when I feel slightly hungry.

Hi Bambi
Thanks for the advice.
I am on day 2 and finding it much harder than yesterday but still sticking to it.
Had the thai chicken soup yesterday and couldnt eat it all....i thought it was horrible
How are u finding it all?

Hi

Day 2 is hard, but i'm glad to see you're sticking with it! I felt rubbish yesterday, but i'm really surprised by how much better today is. I'm feeling much more positive and energetic, and far less stressed. I don't really feel that hungry either, which is always nice! I made the mistake of going shopping yesterday, and I definitely wouldn't recommend going anywhere you might be tempted on a bad day. I found myself drawn to every possible kind of food and having to walk away in a sulk. Today I can look back and be proud that I didn't give in, but I wouldn't do it again.

Hi Ladies
I'm a newbie and have just set up an account on here as I think some support from others on the Exante diet will help to spur me on. This is day five for me and already I have lost 7lbs (I realise most of that will be water retention but its a good start - start weight 14st 7.5lbs).
I've tried all sorts of diets over the last few years and failed miserably through lack of motivation and very little in the way of weight loss. I however feel positive that the Exante is going to bring success at last. I would hope to lose a total of a stone by the end of week 3 if possible. My daughter is getting married in three weeks time and I don't want to be the really blobby one in the photos!
In total, I want to lose 4 stone before Christmas - is that realistic?

Hi and good luck Hun. I'm starting back on it tomorrow (dye to pregnancy had to stop) now that my son is 10 weeks old and I've gained all the weight I lost before plus some so I want to lose it all. Just be warned the first time I had a shake I couldn't believe how disgusting it tasted, the more you have them the more you get used to the taste thankfully.

Anyway good luck Hun

Thank you Becky and congratulations on the birth of your baby boy :)
