New Year... New Start - onwards and downwards.

41 days until holiday and exactly 2 weeks until I move! Can't wait for either.

I've got 2 SW meetings down here before moving and would love to get my 1st award before I go. I need 5lb for it, so 2.5lb a week on average, which I think is doable considering the small gain this week. Fingers crossed!

Fingers crossed! Great that Aaron is joining you.

I fancy trying one now. I assumed all those bars tasted like sawdust.

Yay to yummy bars that you can have, although personally I'd opt for a sandwich over a bar if it was much the same cals. Perhaps you are sub consciously missing s&s?

It's Friday!! Yay! You know what that means? A weekend of sleep and relaxing! Well and packing and visiting my parents but inbetween sleeping and relaxing lol

No they're not like sawdust at all, gorgeous! I don't really like sandwiches F, I find them a bit... boring and unfilling. Haha don't miss S&S at all but these are like chocolate bars, them I do miss!

Afternoon Caz!

I hope the weekend goes well! The sound tempting!

Had a bit of a panic this morning - put on a pair of trousers and found that they were a bit tight. They did fit enough to wear them but these were trousers that up until recently were really loose on me. Thought that meant that I was really putting on weight and that I'd put on more than I realised. Just been to the loo and looked at the trousers a bit better and realised that they're not the ones that I thought they were! They're very similar but they're ones I bought a couple of months ago in a smaller size but they hadn't fit me at all yet and now they do! They're a size 18, which is still a lot bigger than I want to be, but they're very fitted without much 'give' in them so I'm hap

Depends what you put in them I suppose. BLT is my favourite, which is why I'm keeping away from bread for now.

Well done on getting into your fitted, smaller trousers. I had the same thing the other day and it feels great.

Whoop! Great NSV -- even better after a panic.

I felt truly depressed at how fat I thought I was lol

Been a good day food wise...
B: Mushroom omelette, banana
L: Chicken and roast veg, grapes
D: Pork curry and cous cous, more grapes
Snacks: Rocky road hifi bar (half hex b), apple

Still got another bar I can have which I've saved for this evening. Doubt I'll have my hex a, all out of babybel lol I had a chewy sweet earlier that was maybe 3 or 4 syns but that's the only syns I've had today. Running out of fruit! Wish it was cheaper.

If you ladies could all move to Manchester so I know more people there that'd be great thanks! I've realised today that I really don't know many people in Manchester at all. The people I do know are all Aaron's friends and there's only 1 or 2 women in that lot. Feel like it's very much his territory. I want people to do things with!

You'll make friends when you're moved in, working, at the gym, etc. not to worry.

I hope so. The people at my new school are more my age so hopefully I'll make new friends there, they seem quite nice. I'm thinking about taking a class too, maybe Spanish or I've found an 'upcycling fashion' course about turning unwanted bits of clothes and things into other things, like jeans into a skirt, storage wall hanger or a bag, a top from a pillowcase, how to liven up a plain white t-shirt etc. Or there's a cupcake decorating one that looks interesting, thought I'd pass on the bricklaying one!

Oh do the up cycling -- as you can sell your crafts. We used old jeans to make chair back storage for our primary school classrooms when they changed the storage desks to more modern tables. We had the middle school students make them in Home Economics (Design Technology).

Ooh they look interesting! The upcycling is just a 6 week course so might do that and then pick something like the Spanish class after. The cupcake would be great but I don't want to eat them all! The fashion and Spanish may be more use to me.

Here's my brunch for today, just 2 syns.. Got to love slimming world!

WelJel! Looks delish!

It was very tasty. Now having some strawberries and melon. Been to town for a wander today and dug out some of the bags I packed for here in. Doing a load of washing and starting to get stuff packed up ready for a car load on Friday.

Oh, you found them? Where we're they?

Yeah, thankfully my housemate remembered me putting them in a cupboard in the hall outside my room. I was just about to head out and see if I could buy some more when he told me. I was starting to think I was going crazy! I was pretty sure I'd used them to move here but searched every nook and cranny of my room and couldn't find them anywhere. I could do with a small box or two though, need to pop to Morrisons at some point so may ask if they have any but most places flatten them pretty much straight away.
