Nikki in ??? IT STOPS NOW!

bleurgh!

been naughty and been on the scales. no movement down, only up! hoping today is the turning point in it all. only difference is the lack of going to the toilet so i could be holding onto 2lb of poop! i'll need to take some tablets as it's been 5 days since i went!

yesterday i had 3 cd products. couldn't face my salad and at 10pm i had my tetra!

today i've had a bar already. i'm in ketosis as i don't feel hungry! just need to kick the need to eat through moving my mouth.

My body is fighting this diet! It's given me bad stomach cramps, poo probs and a period. Feel like blowing raspberries at myself!

Boo to the scales!!! That's why I refuse to go on them anymore, so demoralising :( I've replied to you in my diary.

seen. i was naughtier last week! been good this week til the friday grump got me!

Hey Nikki how're you getting on? I hope the scales are co-operating!!!! I've finally (touch wood) stopped feeling constantly hungry like I have been these past couple of days. That was making SSing really hard, my stupid body didn't seem to realise it was in ketosis! Hope you're okay!!! :)

i'm just feeling very strange this week, well yesterday and today. i'm not really wanting to eat, not feeling hungry. i'm not in ketosis or anything as i'm eating carbs.

today i've had....

2 tetras
1 bar
3 small cheese straws (i know! you don't need to tell me :()
a slice of toast
4 quorn sausages and i can't be bothered eating the salad either! not hungry, not bothered.

so today's cals are around....

total eaten = 940 cals

and i've done the following exercise, cals are aprox.

ran 4 miles = 487 cals
zumba class for 45 mins = 350
taught a 45 min zumba class = 450

total burnt....... 1287 cals

it's totally bonkers but i really think that cardio stops me from eating. it blocks the hunger.

i've drank....

4 cups of coffee
1 tin of dr pepper
3 litres of water

Not such a good day yesterday but again today totally not hungry.

1 tetra
1 bar
Half fish and some chips from chippie (bad girl)
1 slice of bread.

That is it!

2 Zumba classes, participant and teacher. Totally agony with my side. I coughed during the warm up this am and it hurt really badly again! Had to take loads of pain killers to get through my class tonight (today I've had.... 4 tramadol, 3 volterol and 4 paracets. Then I've used deep freeze spray then a patch and 2 lots if bio freeze gel on my ribs area right side). High as a kite! Not been to the loo since Monday so probably blocked up and also not peeing so well. Can't seem to get it out. Have to majorily relax and focus! That'll be the pills though! Makes me retain water when I take any tablets at all!

Been having loo problems both ends! Took something for one end and stopped taking something for the other lol:)

In nottingham for Zumba gold training. There tomorrow from 9am til 6pm. Decided to stay over one more night so I can come back and shower, change and ear before collapsing into bed! Ate loads today compared with yesterday! Yesterday I was lucky if I had eaten 900 cals, and I'd burnt off around 500ish, today been 100% piggie! Toast for breakfast (don't normally touch bread), sarnie for lunch (quorn ham, with 2 small slices of bread, biscuit things from go ahead, piece of chocolate to wake me up, cornetto before that, 2 large glasses of wine with a fish and chip tea (mushy peas, tartar sauce :0) such a pig! I went back for 2nds but realised that when I started to eat it I couldn't as I was too full! Such a waste! So tired now! Off to sleep soon!

I must be a get up early person! I can lie in and I wake at 3am, manage to get back to sleep again and I wake at 6am. This is my usual time for getting up cause I usually hear Ems sneaking sneaking downstairs!

I've done Zumba gold and am now licensed to teach it to the unsuspecting public of baby boomers. I'm going to try the chair Zumba out in my mum!

My stuff from today!

Did you have a good time Nikki? It sounds like a fantastic idea for less mobile people, zumba is so much fun!!

It was hard and you can't help feeling out of your depth when you are learning new things. Takes time for it to sink in. Loved it though. Shows you how to do chair Zumba and Zumba for people in the bed. As well as unfit adults and active older people. Gives basic info like lifting feet not dragging or pivoting. Not crossing the midline section if the person has had a hip replacement. It was very interesting and makes me feel like I need more information on these people. Said that the Zumba gold is more of a social thing. Offer tea and biscuits. So thought if I work on the Zumba gold and advertise it as a half hours class I can hire the hall for an hour and serve tea and biscuits afterwards so the older participant can sit and talk for a while afterwards.
