No idea how to dress!!

See I have never suited below the knee skirts/dresses. In winter I wear short skirts, dresses with wooly tights and uggs. In summer I can't wear shirt skirts with no tights at my age and legs! So I swap to full length maxi dresses. Matalan have a brilliant range of body wear £5 which holds your belly in ( vest) and pants, it's comfy and warm. I have to wear those with jeans or I get skin hang over! All my new coats and jackets have come from charity shops. In fact I've bought too much, become a little obsessed lol. I've got thousands of pounds worth for hundreds of pounds. :)
Bargain!!! ;)

Probably the worst picture ever lol, today's charity shop find. An M and S lace tunic, with under vest. £6. I swore the only things I'm allowing myself to buy are a couple of tunics to wear with winter leggings, I think it's beautiful, the pic does it no justice.

Hi Kaz! Sounds like you're a good candidate for beau coo (bloggers review here: From the corners of the Curve.: BeauCoo: My new Social Media Addiction. )

you put your measurements in and you see people with a similar shape & what they wear- simple!

i had the same problem as soon as my size 26 clothes wouldn't stay on anymore, shopping on the high st seemed so daunting when I was used to one or two shops with a pretty limited selection.

I looked for for advice too & Magazines would say wear dark clothes that "skim" problem areas- flute that! I want to rock my bod now! I still have big legs but I couldn't give a flip, I wear dresses nonstop because that is what I like. Wear things that you like, be brave & confident- you'll look awesome in anything!

I have to agree with potato...you can wear whatever you want hun, be proud of your weight loss! I'm still a size 16-18 but you rarely see me in anything other than a dress or a skirt on a Saturday night...I might not have perfect legs, but I don't care!! :D:D It's all about having the confidence to wear whatever you like. Go to different shops, try different styles of clothes on and you'll soon find lots of lovely clothes that suit your new body shape :D xx

Well I'm just outside of winsford, they get quite a bit dropped off from t'posh Knutsford, Alderly edge area ;) we visit the Hartford shop every Wednesday after SW class, that ones not so cheap though. Knutsford is a good day out, there must be over 20 charity shops! But all the bargains were from winsford, it's quiet there. I hate the northwich ones because they're rammed with clothes and people!

Where abouts in Winsford are you? I live just outside of Chester. Used to work in Northwich and Winsford. Know what you mean about the charty shops in Northwich, last time I was there that was all it was though, with pound bakery and quality save!
