Non Scale Victories (stolen from another forum)

I have a skirt that has been hanging in my wardrobe for years. When I bought it it was too small - always intended slimming into it. Tried it on this morning and it is too big!!! Still has the lables on it.

Very chuffed for you, Pamdev!
:stickdance: (<-- skinny jeans dancing...)

I've bought 2 or 3 new skirts (SKIRTS! Not baggy tracksuit bottoms!) lately, and some new boots now that I'm going to be showing off a bit of leg! Such a nice thought...

However, I've been neglecting my "old" clothes lately (the ones I've been hanging on to for years, because I love them and SO wanted to get back into them...) - I tried a load on last night and some of them are too big! I zoomed by so quick I missed the chance to wear them again! :rotflmao:

Oh, and my beloved turquoise tartan troos, that I was over the moon to get back into, a few weeks ago (and were in my avatar for yonks) now look like clowns' trousers! :(

I should go on a sewing course so I can find out how to alter all my favourite stuff... :D

Thanks lovely ladies! When i started this diet my pal gave me a pair of size 14 super skinny jeans from river island. I laughed and said never in a million years will I fit them. 8 weeks ago I couldnt get them past my knees. Now I have them on. Me and my OH couldn't believe it. I nearly never wore them today as I can't quite get my head round the fact they look good on. now this has been a boost if ever I needed one!! Hope you are all have a good day today. Xxx

Everyone seems to have got their mojo back! Such a good feeling.

I was given a 'back handed complement' today. I was running late for work, and 2 colleagues were looking out of the office window, looking for me. One colleague said 'here she comes now', the other said, 'that can't be Wendy, it's too skinny!'
That is the same colleague who said a few months ago. 'Wendy you have nice skin. Skinny people like me have wrinkles, but if you are a bit plumper, you don't have wrinkles'. I think I know what she was meaning!

I have been in a right panic as am trying to finish a really long report for work and fit in several trips to London and Sheffield working really long hours but keep thinking about when am going to get time to sort everything out for work trip overseas in 2 weeks.
As is usaully the case I managed to distract myself from working ( I am a nightmare lol) and started to sort through some clothes I had been storing as they were too small - imagine my delight when I found loads of business suits, blouses, and trousers all now fit me - I had forgotten I had some of them. I will ahve lots of stuff now I can take with me - it's almost like having a whole new wardrobe! I want to make sure I can get some wear out of them before I have to get rid of them when they are too big!!!
I love this diet!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
