I have a skirt that has been hanging in my wardrobe for years. When I bought it it was too small - always intended slimming into it. Tried it on this morning and it is too big!!! Still has the lables on it.
OMG I'M IN SKINNY JEANS!!!!!!!! WOOOOOO HOOOOOOOO!! a little excited.

I've bought 2 or 3 new skirts (SKIRTS! Not baggy tracksuit bottoms!) lately, and some new boots now that I'm going to be showing off a bit of leg! Such a nice thought...
However, I've been neglecting my "old" clothes lately (the ones I've been hanging on to for years, because I love them and SO wanted to get back into them...) - I tried a load on last night and some of them are too big! I zoomed by so quick I missed the chance to wear them again!
Oh, and my beloved turquoise tartan troos, that I was over the moon to get back into, a few weeks ago (and were in my avatar for yonks) now look like clowns' trousers!
I should go on a sewing course so I can find out how to alter all my favourite stuff...
I was given a 'back handed complement' today. I was running late for work, and 2 colleagues were looking out of the office window, looking for me. One colleague said 'here she comes now', the other said, 'that can't be Wendy, it's too skinny!'
That is the same colleague who said a few months ago. 'Wendy you have nice skin. Skinny people like me have wrinkles, but if you are a bit plumper, you don't have wrinkles'. I think I know what she was meaning!
