Can I join please? Had my thyroid removed in June so really hard to lose weight. I lost 4 stone from 2011 to 2013 but since my op i have put 1 stone 9 lb on as my metabolism is very very slow...
anyway - i just got back from 2 weeks Cyprus - and I hated myself.. certainly not beach ready!!! so i joined weight watchers whilst i was sat around the pool... i went to my first class on Thursday.
I saw my endocrinologist yesterday and have committed to a stone off by mid november.

So my October target - as we are mid way through is 7lb.

Big hello again, thanks for the welcome dextermummy... I was watching for a couple of days before I got the guts to jump on board! It is really working being part of this, the grandkids were here yesterday and I didn't sneak any sweets! Everytime I've wanted to eat off plan I've thought of posting my weight, so thank you everyone.

Hello Kathryn, know how you feel about being around the pool. We were in Greece in May and I felt like an elephant so wouldn't sit in my cozzie, I nearly melted!! I'm sick of my clothes being tight! Where were you in Cyprus?

Lost 1.8, annoyed as I had been down 3lb but swelling and possible water retention put me back up.

Keep going cynical girl, I'll do the weigh ins with you on Fridays... I've had a few stressful days and have ate everything in sight so whatever loss I've had is gone! Let us kick that stress to the kerb and throw our lbs at it! X

Hi, thanks for asking, appreciated. On going things so no doubt will be up and down like a yo yo. Unfortunately I did the keep going to the cupboard routine while down in the dumps and very annoying that I didn't even enjoy what I ate. I think I'll start a diary when I can work out how.
