Paleolicious

So I've not eaten much today, iys just soo warm. Had a small glass of fresh orange juice earlier and jist had my stir fry veg and now waiting for some chicken wings to cook, only cooking them as think they won't last another day.

Been to aldi and got some parma ham and some dark chocolate, will try to not eat it all in one go! Looking forward to returning to my bed and zzzzzzzz
 
Had a yummy breakfast of mangetout, boiled eggs, salami and parma ham.

I have some beef mince in the fridge that will need cooking so going to do something with that for dinner, dont know whether burgers or savoury mince yet though.
 
Bought some lovely maxi dresses today :) and now getting set to watch the tennis.

Lunch was gf oatcakes with butter and some cherries, yum!
 
Eeek was not the best idea to buy some dark chocolate yesterday from aldi, I just get so excited when things are marked gluten free lol and they have to be in ma belly! So there's not much chocolate left :eek: personally I blame this muchly tense tennis match! Twas yummy though :)

I'm thinking dinner will be a homemade beef burger with garlic mushrooms and sweet potato fries. Going to put courgette, onions and carrot in the burger.
 
Yep, the chocolate has gone :rolleyes: *sigh* no regrets lol
Dinner was amazing! Loven my buger, did it in the oven which was much more of a success than last time when I pan fried it, wasnt raw for starters lol!
 
Having brunch of parma ham, salami, egg, and leftover cabbage and leeks and mangetout in a bit

Dinner will be something with the rest of the mince, probably savoury mince so I can freeze a portion will stuff a marrow with it and put some of my raw milk parmasan on top.

Off to scope out the local shops today and might go into leeds to go to the cinema later. Will stay away from chocolate! Going to weigh in tomorrow so hopefully will have shifted some more of this gain *fingers crossed*
 
Yayyy lost 1/2 lb this week :)

B: few spoonfuls of leftover savoury mince before heading out

L: slice of frozen watermelon, boiled eggs and parma ham

S: cherries

D: I'm off out for gluten fee fish and chips :D well excited!!! Back on it tomorrow :)

Got a busy week this week hopefully can stay on track as much as possible just tonight and Saturday afternoon that will ve eating some rather yummy gluten free foods vut that's it! Volunteering at race for life on Sunday and they give you a food voucher but will take something with me to eat instead.

Feeling the heat today!
 
Well the gluten free fish and chips were amazing! Also had to have the gluten free treacle sponge and custard as would have been rude to say no :p

Back on track today!

B: leftover savoury mince stuffed marrow

L: lamb ribs with roasted onions and cabbage and leeks

D: going to try make a cauliflower "risotto" with chicken (onion, garlic, grated cauliflower, courgette, mushrooms and carrots)
 
Last night's dinner didn't go to plan as has an energy crash so couldn't cook. Ened up in bed before 9 and need to take it slow for a few days, think thr move had finally caught up with me, tried to outrun it stupidly! I never learn! Having to go for my hep B vaccination today, praying it doesn't cause a flare up of my ME, trying not to worry or stress about it.

Food for today:

B: fried mushrooms and eggs
L: 2 chicken wings with sweet potato and some veggies
D: going to try again for the risotto coz my cauliflower needs using today, will use a piece of frozen basa to have with it.

So thats the plan, hopefully!
 
Haha so didn't eat my planned meal as my mum needed company so had dinner at "home" home lol so had pork ribs with onions and some dark chocolate when I got back to mine.

Got some leftovers for breakfast will do some mushrooms and maybe an egg to go with it too. Leftovers for breakfast rock!! :cool:

Off to the farmers market tomorrow, hoping to get some local produce and in the afternoon I'm off to a gluten free event so going to try not eat too much!
 
Whooop! *finally* got the cauliflower risotto made :D and its de-lish!
 
Todays food has been interesting to say the least :p

L: yummy, totally non paleo gluten free samples at the world gluten free day! Won't go into details lol

D: went to local thai restaurant that does gluten free, had a yummy clear prawn curry with fried rice.

Now enjoying cocktails in my garden! A good day I'd say! :D

Wandered down to the farmers market yesterday morning, spent a fortune! Bought duck eggs, venison steaks and some local raw milk cheese, I'm a proper student ;) lol hehe! Going to do a small shop today and then going to *try* have a few non spend days!
 
I don't know if I'd buy venison again to cook myself, its a bit "strong" tasting for want of a better word.
Was good to try something different though.

So I have decided not to do a food shop this week, I have plenty in yo make meals out of, just need to be creative and eat frozen veg when I run out of fresh. Will be good to make use of what I have instead of buying more as usual and hoping to save a bit of money too. I'm experimenting with some intermittent fasting again, want to see how I feel doing it and it'll cut down on food costs too. Thought today would be a good day to start as its so warm I'm not that fussed for food. Will see how long I cango today, might have dinner tonight, we'll see.
 
Managed a 24 hour fast from 8pm last night to 8pm tonight, had a couple of pork ribs for a light dinner as wasn't actually that hungry. Think I'll try another fast day on wed or Thurs depending on how my week pans out.

Have the slow cooker on for the night cooking an oxtail broth which will do for a few meals this week.

Tomorrow's food plan:

B: fried eggs and a couple of nuts

L: herb sesame chicken wings with broccoli

D: oxtail broth with sweet potato

Will weigh in tomorrow :eek: not looking hopeful considering this past weeks consumption! Really hope if I eat as well as I can and stick a couple of fast days in I'll see a loss next week, off to Paris a week on Friday so really want to lose a little before the gluttony :rolleyes:
 
Yesterday I had a banana and an apple in addition to my meals. Was really hungry!

Today I'm going to try another fast day, will do 24 hours again, so until 7pm tonight. If I'm hungry I have some nuts to snack on during the day (under 500 cals).

Dinner tonight will be fried basa with broccoli cheese (got some yummy raw milk cheese that tastes like cheddar), might make a little sauce using coconut milk and depending on how hungry I am some sweet potato.

Off to an urban farm today, looking forward to seeing all the animals! :D
 
Yay, nearly finished my 24 hour fast, looking forward to my dinner, not in a could eat a house way but in a normal way lol. Honestly thought I wouldn't be able to fast as would be tired and hungry but not missed eating today and plenty enough energy. Probably not going to do another fast day til Monday as done 2 this week, so guess thats in line with 5:2. Its definitely been good fpr the food bills!! :)
 
Got creative in the kitchen and dinner morphed into a basa and broccoli bake, can't wait to eat it :)
