Thanks both of you My mum made a great point last night (as she watched me unpack the food I had brought down inc jellies, crackerbread and cous cous!) that to get to the event each day I'll walk past a morrissons with a salad bar. So will use that to vary the salads

On the train back to Glasgow! Has an absolutely great 5 days down Greenock for the Tall ships race - pics on facebook tonight.

I'll be honest; eating hasn't been as good as I'd hoped...but I have walked so much! The site of the ships was an hour from the house so walked out and back each day plus loads of walking while there. And today too I went a walk with my wee brother away in the hills behind the town...plus carrying a suitcase and pipes home! Plus might go a walk once back at the flat. So hopefully all this walking helps!

But still, loved every moment

Cheers m'dears! Yeah for all the towns ills (and believe me there are a lot!) Greenock has a lot of redeeming features and the views etc are definitely some of them!

My weekend, well I'm back in the parents house...only left on Wednesday! They'll start to think I love them or something!

But a mate of mine is getting married tomorrow so down for the wedding. Piping and a guest. The brilliant thing about piping is it can double up as a present. A wee bit of inconvenience and saves a bit of money

So tomorrow will be a write-off pretty much but am going a big walk in the morning, purposely haven't bought a card yet so I HAVE to go this walk!

Back to Glasgow on Sunday!

It did actually happen a couple of times!

Cheers, it was a very good weekend. Topped off with seeing Harry Potter last night!

Back to the damage limitation now though until Friday 29th when I head to Belfast for a long weekend over my birthday for a pipe band contest - good timing eh!
