Jesso! That's some dedication from you! I think you're mental reading all my shoite! :)

That's me back from Northern Ireland. Overall I think my eating was fairly good. Wasn't keeping track but I only had my breakfast yesterday then a Double Decker (I needed the energy before we played) then drank in Belfast all night. Again, had the breakfast this morning and then home made soup when I got home.

My plan was to work out a routine while unemployed, as I thrive on routines.

But...last night I was up a wall at the hotel (I may have been drunk!) and decided to fireman slide down the flag pole next to it. I didn't realise the bottom of this wasn't flat so I badly twisted my ankle. Apparently the colour drained straight out my face. I was taken to bed where someone in the band made a makeshift strap out of a wet t-shirt of mine (the Ernie one if you're reading Taz) and went to bed.

We have a nurse in the band who had a look in the morning and thought it may be broke (even though I could just about walk on it). We had strict times so I never got to the hospital until I was home tonight.

Turns out it is just a very bad sprain but does mean I can't really walk/cycle for a good few days...not for any distance certainly.

So this could be interesting!

...fun times :D

haha, not at your ankle but at your drunken antics.

But really sorry about the ankle mate, truly sympathise. I had a bad sprain and torn ligaments a few weeks ago, foot was badly swollen and bruised, was off work for 5 shifts. Still getting a wee bit of bother with it now.

Make sure you rest up, strapping it gives it some support and paracetemol and ibrufen helps too.

Not really what you need when your about to start job hunting though.

Ya wally.
Have you not seen the advert where the man thinks he's a superhero when intoxicated????? lol!

On a serious note though, sorry to hear you've hurt yourself, sending vibes for speedy healing. :vibes:

I'm currently sitting next to my bed with my leg up on the bed, with it strapped up. You're advice directly matches the doctor that saw me so I'm one step ahead ;) Cheers though
