Purple Hugs - Babe in arms!!

Babys can be engaged early on, it doesn't necessarily mean it will come early. At this stage they can dip in and out of the pelvis too, so may not stay that way right through till due date. With a first they tend to engage earlier, following pregnancies often engage later.
 
Eeeekkk @ leg cramps. They are horrendous! I haven't had one yet, but I guess that's one of the many things to look forward to lol.

Thanks Abbie. :) much appreciated. Really do look pregnant now and it's excusable when you see me with a Braxton hicks in the shops now, I keep expecting people to get concerned soon when I am in pain! lol

Kirsty, agree with all shell has said about engaging etc. It's not uncommon for 2nd babies to not engage properly till the day of labour starting. I'm not worried either way if she stays or not, was just interesting to know she knows what to do! lol

I don't know how my birth will be as have read that a 'long' gap in pregnancies can lead to the 2nd baby being like having a first baby - if that makes sense. I've had sooooo many BH and painful ones too - am getting them while sitting now too these days, that I do wonder if things will be naturally quicker this time around. That and the fact my MW thinks things might have been slowed down by baths last time could mean I beat my record set by having Erin.. I certainly hope so! lol
 
Am in full Halloween swing now! lol
We have for years had an annual party on Halloween - not sure how it came about to be honest! lol But last year we went out to a wildlife centre for their 'do'. Wasn't the same at all! lol
So this year it's gone from a few friends of the girls to a lot of adults as well as their children! lol not sure how many we'll have in the end, but considering we'll be indoors it'll be a fair few for sure. :)
we've been busy decorating the living room and hallway, looks very fitting. :) And have a lot of food to prep for tomorrow with a few final bits to buy tomorrow morning.
Kitchen floor still to clean and bathroom to freshen up, though dosn't desperately need it. Erin's friend is sleeping over so will get bedding sorted too. lol
Must confess I'm sat on the sofa with feet up, and an aching back! lol but feel good.

I think a big part of my excitement is knowing that I'm on the 'run up' to baby arriving! lol I've had it in my head from the start that the final months would fly by as Halloween, Guy Fawkes, my youngest daughters birthday on the 15th Nov, then 1 month till they finish school and baby is due! :D they finish on the 18th Dec. So xmas shopping and gift wrapping needing done in that time too.

Feels really 'real' now and that's fab!

33 weeks! :D Feeling good, baby is definately bigger and no longer sleeping transverse. :) Still having BH and generally uncomfy sometimes but coping fine.

GREAT halloween had by all, and our party went well - kids thoroughly enjoyed themselves. :) little one is shattered today and went to bed early as she was up normal time at 7am. lol

Girls are back to school tomorrow.. half term has flown by! And hard to believe when they break up next it'll be 2 days before my due date!! OMG! lol

DH has been having a re-think about baby cot in our room and wants to move it into the babies room and get that set up more as a nursery with bunks still in there for 'spare' beds as my sister is down for xmas. So we'll be having a swop around and he'll have to think up some storage for his recording stuff that is in there at the moment. lol
We'll see if it happens before xmas. lol

Have been writing out invitations for my little ones 5th birthday party in 2 weeks time! Time really has flown.

lol Thanks Abz! :D I have had red red hair too and a proper punky purple! lol toned it down to a 'normal' purple for a few years, but have gone back to my natural blonde to see if I had any grey yet! lol then with getting pregnant thought I'd leave it as am not sure on pregnancy and hair dye! :p Will likely re-dye it again.

Was a great party. DH was a warewolf and scared all the kids! lol

i had bleached streaks put in mine and the rest dyed black and had red streaks through it which look awesome but i haven't redone it for some time so now i just have black hair with yellowy blonde streaks through it... not a great look for me... ha. so i really need to get back onto it. the place that sold my hair dye has vanished though so it looks like it's going to be an online order...

Well am a bit gutted this morning as maternity allowance hasn't gone in. Called them and it's on a 4 weekly payment cycle even though I asked for 2 weekly! :(
I had reserved a netbook for my eldest's xmas present for today with a £50 discount off it at the moment - so won't be able to get that. And the remainder of it was for my youngest daughters birthday party in just under 2 weeks.
They are going to re-jig the payment that is due today and pay it in over the next week - so fingers x'd I can at least pay for LO's birthday party! And we'll see what the deals on the netbooks are at the time. Either that or I'll pay some bills up and then get it next time.
Blooming nightmare though as we don't seem to be having a lot of luck with money at the moment.. :( Thought that was changing but obviously not.

Well, college went well and all is fine with bump - she kept me company at college and then till around 3am this morning! lol am definately in for a live wire night hawk once she arrives I think! lol

Well am feeling a bit better, they are sending payment through should be here next tuesday at latest. have had to muddle through a bit this week but we'll manage. Just thankful I'd paid a few things up front (like a horse feed delivery that arrived today) lol

Still sleeping rubbish but feeling great generally. Baby is going 'low' often now so I find myself waddling at times! Lovely sight I'm sure. lol

I weighed myself this morning with the feeling I'd depress myself.. but was surprised to have lost 1.5lbs!! so am 210.5lb at the moment - really pleased. Still 2 stone more than I was at booking in, but I don't really want to go over 15st 7lb if I can help it! lol At least when baby arrives I've a chance of being in the 14 stone range still - lower part would be nice I must admit but I daren't hope too much! lol

Morning All,
Well am 34+1 today and amazed! lol
Am feeling really tired again come lunchtime and was really struggling for breath this morning - lungs must've been restricted for a while I think. walking to school eased things off though - was bracing in the cold but lovely sunny and dry. :)

Baby was tapping on my tummy last night - not kicks for sure - and DH was marvelling as she was in rhythm and went on for ages - he said that was the most he's ever felt her! He fell asleep to her movements bless him. I turned over and she continued on my side so I played tapping games a little with her pushing gently from my side! lol She went off to sleep in the end though. :D lol
 
Thanks Ali - really is lovely. Am beginning to realise I'm carrying an active thinking baby now! lol I know that sounds strange, but I woke with hip ache this morning at 6am and baby obviously wasn't ready to get up (as I did). She wiggled around shaking my bump from side to side and kicking upwards for about 5 mins then settled back to sleep! lol she's still sleeping now and it's 7.05am lol. Bless - Can't wait to meet her now I must admit. :D Not that I'm keen to start her early just that I'm looking forward to seeing the newest addition to our family. :D
