Herby roast chicken, hasselback potato, roast asparagus, carrots, sweet potatoes with peas, sweetcorn and green beans

I love hasselback potatoes, plus it stops me eating All.Of.The.Roast.Potatoes ;)

We took the sprogs for their first ever swim this morning. They were awesome and had such a good time we're going to do it again tomorrow :D

I have no way of measuring it from an exercise point of view, but I am knackered!
 
Breakfast - Melon and cherries

Post swim snack - apple and grapes.

Lunch - Leftover chicken and spinach curry and rice.

Snack - 2 x pack ryvita thins (hexb + 4.5)

Dinner - Chicken and veg pie (3 syns), sw chips and asparagus.

Drinks so far

1 pint NAS
3 giant mug tea - hexa

Syns used - 7.5

Exercise - 1.5 hour swimming with sprogs.
Bike ride to fat club and back - 4km

1.5lbs off, 68.5 total. Just 1.5lb to go to get my 5 stone shiny. Come on flabby bits, shift it *pokes self*
 
Dawn well done on your loss and wow wow to losing nearly 5 stone. I am sure you get your shiney next week. Your food always looks delish.
 
If all else fails this week I could always shave my hair off, that's gotta give me at least a lb off! hehe

Planned food today

Breakfast - melon and cherries

Post swim snack - apple and ryvita thins (hexb)

Lunch - Notdogs, poached eggs and salady bits.

snack - 2 x scan bran (2) 1/2 tbsp choc spread (2) 1/2 tbsp peanut butter (2)

Dinner - Slow cooked spaghetti bolognaise with basily salad. 1 syns worth of olives.

Drinks so far

1 mug tea
1 pint NAS

Syns used - 7

Exercise - 45 mins swimming with the kids.

Snack - Quavers (4.5), grapes

Dinner - Moussaka and salad, 1 syns worth of olives. (hexa)

Snack - 2 finger kitkat (5.5 syns)

1 Costa americano
1 bottle diet coke

Syns used - 13

Exercise - a wander round the market with two sproglets.

I've got a veggie moussaka recipe on the blog here - Syn Free Veggie Moussaka » Om Nom 365 but it needs updating a bit. I've gone off the quarky cheese toppings.

Now days I just cheat a bit. I batch cook bolognaise in the slow cooker and use that for my sauce, then layer it with slices of aubergine that I've griddled. Grate cheese on top and bake till it's bubbling and browned.
 
I bought 3 galia melons from the market yesterday for a quid. :eek: This is why I'm eating so much melon ;)

I'm sat now munching a bag of fresh cherries too, hehe

Snack - 1/2 bag of fresh cherries, handful of grapes.

Lunch - Moussaka and roast asparagus (1/2 hexa)

Snack - Quavers (4.5 syns) + apple

Dinner - Garlic and chilli pan fried chicken breast, sweet potato chips and salad. hexb olive oil used to fry the chicken and coat the chips.

Snack - 2 finger KitKat (5.5)

Drinks so far

2 mugs tea - 1/2 hexa
1 mug coffee

Syns used 10

Exercise

Sprog drop off 1km
Bike ride to docs and back -1km
Bike ride to pool and back - 4km
Swim - 40 lengths/1km

I do love living so close to the market, lots of very cheap fresh food :)

Tonight's dinner - Pan fried chicken breast with garlic and scotch bonnet chilli, sweet potato chips and salad
