Hi guys,
ive been browsing for afew days now and have decided to take the plunge and a)say hello!! and b) start slimming world tomorrow!! (well the actual group been doing afew bits ive picked up through googling so far!!).
So.. guess i should start with a little bit about myself.. I currently weigh (according to my scales) 14st3, a size 18 and 5ft5. i work as a nurse and am in a stressful job which tends to result in comfort eating and stress eating. i love my food- which i guess is why ive decided on slimming world.
Ive got a couple of questions which hopefully youll be able to help me with
1) Im a type 1 insulin dependant diabetic which to be honest isnt brilliantly controlled (22 now diagnosed at 4 = teenage resentment). will this effect how slimming world works?
2) goals - whats the best way of setting these?
3) i work 4x 12.5hour shifts a week and our employer supplies us meals; generally this is homemade soup and bread for lunch, and plenty of options for tea (full meals/jackets/salads) but its lunch that concerns me- will i be able to eat it or should i avoid?? how does this work??
4) i work a very adhoc shift pattern, and cant guarentee i can make the meetings every week? does anyone have any experiance of this? how would it work?
