Well, the one i like best is:
Bacon and mushroom quiche.
This has no pastry base and is totally free.
You will need:
Bacon (i use btwn 4-6 slices) all fat removed
6 eggs
A good splosh of milk, from your allowance.
Cottage cheese (i dont us this as im lactose intolerant) still tastes good.
1 onion
Good handful mushrooms
Red pepper (optional)
Couple of pinches of mixed herbs
Salt and pepper
Fry the bacon, onion, mushrooms and peppers till soft.
Beat the eggs, and add the milk. Sprinkle in the herbs.
Put the cooked mixture into a suitable sized cooking dish, and pour the eggy mixture over the top.
(if adding cottage cheese, i would stir it in from here.) give it all a good stir, put salt and pepper
On. If you want to add a bit of reduced fat grated cheddar on top, you can just dont forget to add the syns.
Place in the oven gas make 5, middle shelf for 30 mins. It will rise. Use a skewer to test the middle, if it comes
Out clean its ready, if not, put back in, and check every 5-10 mins until cooked.
As this is free, you can play around with other superfree foods to suit your taste buds.
Hope you enjoy. This is my kids favourite!!
