Jade Goody has died at the age of 27, her spokesman Max Clifford has confirmed.

Really makes you think.. both personally and as a mum - My heart goes out to her family and boys. To lose your mum that young, and to lose her on the eve of mothers day will be with them for the rest of their lives.

RIP Jade - I hope that changes are made in screening and younger women are heard.

Mr Clifford said: "I think she's going to be remembered as a young girl who has, and who will, save an awful lot of lives.

Hopefully the awareness campaign and all the good it has done bringing awareness to women about this cancer keeps going and is not brushed aside now that Jade is gone.

Because of Jade Goody there will be many other young mothers who will celebrate mothers day for years to come and many other young children who will not have to grieve.

Jade's mum and sons can be very proud of the difference their daughter and mum has already made and will make in the future. Because of her foresight those children will very likely achieve the things she would have wanted for them.

Jade - your legacy lives on. I hope your passing was easy in the end and that you died knowing you were loved.

We must never forget what this young woman taught us and the government must now act to prevent this happening to other young women out there x

i posted on the other thread but i am truly gutted. She proved you dont have to be 'book smart' and i know alot of 'Jades', and you know, she was a carer from the age of 5 years old. she made good and was cruelly taken from this mortal coil.

She is at peace.

Its so sad the news of Jade, to lose your Mum and Daughter on Mothers Day is a horrific twist of fate. My heart goes out to Jackie and the boys. I saw in the paper yesterday that Jack has already sold his story, i hope it was just papers fabricating!
