thanks everyone! Jess, that would be fantastic.. i've never tried sleep therapy but hey, gotta be worth a go right?

and yeah Trace.. did have a giggle at the word searches.. :)

well.. day was long.. 3-9 turned into 3-9:50.. just felt like i'd never get everything done!

sitting back with a film on now.. could fancy an alcoholic drink but i won't..

hiya,you seem to be doing well.and wow all that exercise!although ive got back into the routine of points i havent really increased exercise yet i wish i had a wii fit.youre right to be keeping a diary,i cant live without my journal,i find it so much easier and i can usualy talk myself into making that wise food choice,for instance i was having a niggling need for some chips before i statred to type this but now im considering a healthier option which is good.carry on the good work well done:D

Fitz, not sure how many of my 21 points i have left is all - hence not wanting to waste on the drink - I had 19 before pizza the day before yesterday, then yesterday I had 4.5 on bread for my soup and cheese that i nibbled at work.. was going to count 10 for my pizza which only leaves me 4.5 until monday.. hence why i didnt think it was worth having a drink.

anyway, plan for today:

B - shreddies and sk. milk
L - mushroom and sweetcorn omelette with broccoli
T - beef casserole from yesterday (ended up having more vegetable soup yesterday instead!)
S - banana, pineapple, mango, kiwi, melon
 
Yay! You are back! This makes me happy. How is core working out for you? Your technology seems to be working atm touch wood!! xx
 
I really like Core, thanks Sas :) because of that pizza, i've eaten my points much faster than i would've usually.. just had a bagel with extra-light philly tonight and polished off the rest of my points.. however i've just decided that if i earn some AP then i will eat them. Going to aim to earn 6, then that should tide me over the next few days.

final plan for today:

B - shreddies and sk. milk
L - jacket potato with tuna and spinach
T - beef casserole with spinach
S - banana, cherries, apple, orange, bagel (3.5) 30g e.l. philadelphia (1)

15 mins on my bike - medium intensity - 1 AP :)


.. on a random note, was looking at myself in the mirror today and I am not unhappy with myself, however I visualised myself a size smaller and really liked what I saw.. felt rather inspired so want to keep that picture in my mind and stick to it this time :) x
 
That's good that you're not unhappy with the way you look now but still have motivation :) I've decided to try and enjoy what I have until I get to where I want to be.. I've spent too many years thinking "when I'm slim..." Well if that never comes I've wasted my youthful years! I was washing my hands after a piddle and I caught a look in the mirror.. and my boobies looked fantastic! Me thinks I need to invest in more halter necks.. I have nice shoulders and the top of my back is fab :p I think I should invest in some hold-it-all pants and some coloured tights and spend less time in jeans and t-shirts!

But yes, you looked great when I saw you. You carry your weight very well, you don't look the size you are (as I've said before and will keep saying!). You have lovely petite features and slim face.. you dress well, you're womanly and curvy. Happy you should be indeed!
 
Jess i know i just told you, but I REALLY love you! :D if Adam can't give you babies, I will! :D

and i totally agree with you on your shape.. i still love that maxi dress you had on.. i scoured the shops for something similar but alas I have not found anything that suits my shape - its harder to pull maxis off when you have ickle boobies!

never fear though, instead of the dress I scored two belts, a painter shirt, a flowery dress-style top to wear with one of the belts and some gorgeous blue and gold boho jewellery.. so it was not a wasted trip :D
 
I had to take that dress back.. it was falling apart! I do not expect that from New Look :p The bra straps were held together by a thread from moving the little plastic bit up and down plus it was fraying around the edges of the chest bit. I'd only wore it a handful of times! I did machine wash it when it was meant to be hand washed.. maybe that did it. Hmm.. I didn't tell them that though ;)

Next time I'm up north you and I are hitting the shops madam!
 
oh yeah defo Jess! :D wait until our loans come in though :p

and good luck Trace! you can eat cereal until you feel full :) i normally draw the line at 60-80g max though as i do worry about portion sizes! Have you got a plan for today? x
 
Yes best to weigh it out Rach as otherwise a large packet can find its way into your tum when you're not looking!!! You sound back on track and like the sound of the new bits and bobs, you'll look a treat in them.

Hows Matty? Did he enjoy the hols and is he still living there or have you had enough and sent him back to his Mums until he's fully trained?

I dont think I've ever seen anyone 'buy' personally i am addicted to 'come dine with me' at the moment

Discovery plan takes points and core ideals and meshes them.

On Core, you can eat as much wholemeal pasta, rice, potatoes, non sugary cereals, fruit, veg, lean cuts of meat.. basically anything unprocessed in your meals without counting any points. Anything like bread, margarine, jam, chocolate etc.. then you have 21 points a week to spend on them.

Discovery basically takes the ideals of eating more basic foods (what they now call "Filling Foods") and incorporating them into your points allowance.

As far as I am aware, Core is no longer supported by WW - it is however incredibly similar to EE on Slimming World. I really like it as I like to cook and having 3 set meals a day rather than eating all the way through seems to keep me on track longer. :)

me either.. and yeah we watch that too - did you see it the other day when a guy called Martin who had a little black dog called Cosmo was on? CHEATER! :eek: He got CATERERS in to do his cooking! And he still won, even after telling them all!
 
Its really like EE but the only thing that stopped Core working for me was I hated having to stick to only my 3 meals a day lol Old habits die hard - still a snacker ;)

i totally agree - only thing with me is that the snacking was what always caused me to go off track!
