nope, freezer just broken
tripping the electrics each time its plugged in. its well old and considering the fridge and freezer are both held together with cellotape, i dont have any door shelves in the fridge, or handles on the freezer drawers, the cooker has its glass bluetacked on, the extractor doesnt work, and the boiler will only either give you hot shower and no heating or heating and cold shower.. i'm thinking I might just push forward my new kitchen plans.
so going to be eating fresh for awhile.. though i did rescue a decent amount of food and its been put in Mattys rents freezer. I was most worried about my battered mushy pea cake things that i discovered on offer in Sainsburys a while back.. been fancying them for ages
like promised, i joined class tonight. Got a free dessert cookbook with my voucher off the website and got myself a new journal, shop and eating out guide when i signed up for monthly pass.. the italian cookbook and the weekdays cookbooks were also reduced so got the two for £7 and going to try out some of the recipes this week
first plan though is to try and recreate the LUSH prawn and chilli tomato spaghetti i had on sunday at Prezzos cause I think Matty will really enjoy it
also, i was pleasantly surprised to find my starting weight was still 2lbs lighter tonight than it was last week in the morning - was pretty good over the weekend although i did polish off plenty of popcorn and maltesers when Jax and me took our little angels to the cinema
think i lost weight mainly to Jax's amazing pointed cooking though.. she makes the most luscious quorn curry ever - had it with a 0 point veg curry and mediterranean cous cous which was divine, PLUS poppadoms and her homemade raita that i wouldve licked the bowl clean of, had she not specified she would be dipping her last naan bread in LOL
also we had some lush chickeny thing on the friday and it was sooooooooo nice.. i asked if she would consider mailing me some every time she made it but she declined
today has been a mix of school and uni - popped into school to check out my classes that i will be teaching on monday, and then headed into uni this afternoon for another pretty pointless seminar.. although i did find that a little bit of it was interesting - picked up some good interview tips for job hunting etc, so not too bad there
spinning after WW was good - didnt feel i worked so hard today.. but will find out tomorrow how right/wrong i am!
