Thanks Loz, thought of you today as I went to Woolies in the Metro Centre (supporting them in their hour of need.... by buying all their cheap xmas goodies) and bought myself a little 3ft xmas tree for my house for £1.50 :D then i nipped into Argos and bought some little fairy lights, which made me laugh because the guy said "you are aware this item cant be returned within 30days of purchase unless its broken dont you?" and then i realised - some cheeky buggars actually try and return their xmas lights after xmas! LOL! I did laugh.. guy thought I was nuts! :8855:

Well, I have powered around this morning and got my little tree, some fairy lights and some curtain hooks so I can FINALLY block my stalker neighbour out. She called around AGAIN last night.. but it was 5 to 6 and i thought a little unfair to enforce the after 6pm rule as for once she wasnt miles beyond it lol.. but she was totally fishing to come in.. no doubt she had no hot water and wanted to do her dishes in my sink (ha FAT CHANCE! :D) or wanted to borrow my internet but I was rather harsh with her and told her I was busy (sorry!) and shut the door.. even felt a bit guilty.. but it passed soon enough :D

Been having a nose through Matty's mum's discover plan - shes a gold member so she goes each week - have had her on the scout for new tasty WW products but apparently there were none.. and the leader didnt have any of the journal packs deluxe or standard.. how disappointing!

There are some nice looking recipes in the booklet she has in the filofax thing (its blue.. so obviously not just for the Scottish classes!) going to try the chicken balti thats in there..

going to make my super Rosie soup tonight for tomorrow as got no carrots for Aunty Kaz's C+C a la Keith soup.. LOL :D

food update:

B - 4 slices (small loaf) Hovis original wheatgerm bread (3) and 30g philadelphia light (1)
L - Heinz Big Soup Smokey Bacon Leek and Potato (5) half a bag of prawn crackers (2.5)
T - off to Toby Carvery! whoop! :D will try and be sensible though!

To quote a rather famous (and annoying) dog... OHHHHHHHHHHHHH YES. :D

Just a quick check in Rach - hope you had a lovely time at the carvery catch you tomorrow when you can post the full story.

thanks M! :D

well, details of the carvery! More than 5 hours after we ate, I am still feeling full.. i didnt think I went THAT insane, but just shows you how much my stomach is shrinking! :D

However, there was a little voice in my head that was upset that I hadnt cleaned my plate.. just how I was brought up so still find it difficult to pass on sometimes! BUT.. there was a bigger voice going YAY, YOU LEFT SOMETHING! :D lol!

I have to say I really enjoyed it.. i doubt WW will cure me of my love of food and going out for meals, but as long as it teaches me to enjoy them in moderation I can live with that :) Matty had a bad head and whinged about EVERYTHING while we were there.. ":sigh: only one portion of meat allowed? thats not very good" ":sigh: vegetables arent cooked properly" ":sigh: the carvery man gave the pretty girl in front of me a bigger portion of meat" ":sigh: stuffing wasnt as good as at home" ":sigh: this totally wasnt worth £7.50"... until i lost my rag and told him to bog off.. this is my "celebrate my weight loss by eating night" at TC and considering I was paying half the bill he could pay for himself if he was going to act like a 5 year old! LOL :D

foodwise I didnt make fantastic choices but I had what I wanted and in moderation - chose turkey (of which half went to Matty to shut his whining black hole of a mouth!) and had half a yorkshire pud (they were MASSIVE!) a stuffing ball, and the biggest pile of broccoli EVER! Also had some red and white cabbage, one cauli floret as was in cheese sauce and a maybe a little too big scoop of mashed potato that was totally made with cream and butter.. but hey.. my night! Shh :p lol! Oh, and I had plenty of gravy..

however i did realise half an hour after I finished eating (and had laid back in my chair rubbing my stomach like a pregnant lady!) I was really upset / pleased to realise I did not have a single roast potato! :D but i guess i made up for that with mash...

and even though I wasnt driving I only had one diet coke - and i kept doing what Core says and kept stopping to put my knife and fork down to evaluate how full I was - I did leave plenty of stuffing (i always go overkill with stuffing!) and carrots which i dished out before realising they were covered in butter.. and i only force myself to eat carrots to make sure I can see in the dark.. would much rather have more broccoli.. no idea what it does for me but it looks like mini trees which still fascinates me after 21 years of life..

..i think I am mentally disturbed somehow.. :(

also.. i loved the steamed veg there.. Matty loves soggy vegetables and it makes me so sad to have to eat soggy cauliflower and broccoli cause its just so WRONG! :(

anyway I had a good time - one meal down, one buffet and one three course meal for the xmas party to go. After tonights performance (mixed emotions over missing out on the jam roly poly and custard!) i think I might just manage sunday.. its just the buffet and drinks for friday I need to worry about! Saving some points seems a good plan!

Anyway, i should probably get to bed. Up nice and early to figure how I will fit 100 fairy lights on a 3ft xmas tree (LOL :D) and go for a swim...

over and out! x

MMM sounds lovely hun, we have found a local pub that does the most huge carvery dinners for £3.50 we were gob smacked when we found out the price the plates are massive.

Wow, I could just eat that now! It sounds like you did very well and I am sure points wise that was not too bad. You avoided roast potatoes and they are the points killers so well done!

I'm looking forward to seeing your next pic :)

Super well done on a 3lbs loss, young missy...I need to start moving my butt more - all of you AP folks are getting great losses.

Sounds like the TC was a winner - I love it there but not been in ages. A visit is in order methinks.

Lovely visual though of all those lights on that poor wee tree...bless!!

Hope the soup turns out well. Sounds like you have regular cooking disasters. :8855:

yep.. i am a rather inattentive cook and tend to get distracted and leave things.. i'm banned from boiled eggs as i blew up a couple at my step mums.. left em on low and went in the bath.. then fell asleep! Woke up (partially cause my head had sunk under the water LOL :p) to the sound of a humoungous bang.. one of the eggs had hit the ceiling and it had dinted the plaster! Of course as much as i tried to hide it, Mummy D noticed straight away and I got a good telling off... :( oops.

Well done on the 3 pounds & your 10% :):):)

thanks very much Anna :D

well - i am not happy! the sod (OH) stole my cauliflower.. he was angling in my fridge yesterday to see what I had (bad habit hes picked up from living in a house with 3 other men who constantly steal each others food and never eat their own!) and my cauliflower has gone! He's also taken a pack of philadelphia light (i stock up when its cheap seen as i eat that much of it :p) and there are a couple of gaps in my tin cupboard and my everything else i cant categorise cupboard.. but i cant figure out what it is he has taken..

gunna kick his hairy little bot when I see him next! He knew I was making soup today! ho hum! :D

B - 30g shreddies (1.5) and 1/4pt semi (1)
