...wait till the kids arrive then you have no choice, your whole front room becomes a shrine to advent calendars!! ...

Can't wait ... fingers crossed!!

..we were allowed to open one present, then bed, ...at least 6am, then the fun began. My mam would make a massive pile of toast that no-one ate cos we were too busy with selection box "trading", marathons v mars bars! LOL, oh those were the times x

Oh yes, those were the days! Then a day spent playing the family games etc. Things have changed so much but I hope I can still have some of that tradition

I guess every family has their own traditions, we follow some from when I was a kid and some of mr b's and have invented a few of our own.

Every year we say 'this is the last year we'll get woken at a decent time, they'll be up a 5am next year' but so far the girls sleep til their usual time...thank god ( or santa)

oh just wait!! it'll be 4.30 next year, LOL.... get them to come ask if he's been yet, that will stagger it for a couple of hours!

Olivia and I have just been out to fetch a takeaway for tea. It's dark & frosty and the xmas lights were on in the high street and we agreed that we felt really christmasy and drove home singing 'rudolph'
