I am starting Exante in the morning! I am very excited and feeling motivated. I have done it before but gave up after a couple of weeks. My plan this time is to stick to packs until Christmas day. That is only 150 days :D

I know it's not encouraged to weigh in daily but I just cannot help myself so will come back every day to update.

Size 10 here I come!!!

Starting weight - 18 st 8.2 lbs
Week 1 (18 st 2.6 lbs) - 5.6 lbs
(Day 1 -1.4 lbs Day 2 -0.4 lbs Day 3 -1 lbs Day 4 -1.2 lbs Day 5 -1.2 lbs Day 6 +0.2 lbs Day 7 -0.6 lbs)
Week 2 (17 st 13.6 lbs) - 3 lbs
(Day 1 +2 lbs, Day 2 +1 lbs Day 3 -1.8 lbs Day 4 -1.4 lbs Day 5 -1 lbs Day 6 -1 lbs Day 7 -0.8 lbs)
Week 3

Total loss so far - 8.6 lbs

Thank you Carrie and Hely. So far so good. Had a strawberry shake this morning, carbonara for lunch and a bar this evening. I have drunk 3 litres. I've had the occasional rumble - not as bad as I remember and no headache...yet!

Starting weight is 18 stone 8.2 lbs :eek:
 
How was the carbonara? Ive had a strawberry shake, bar and mushroom soup (not good)!

I want to lose 4.5 stone

Ooooo I'm not a fan of the soups either! I really like the carbonara. It takes some trial and error in cooking to get it right but once mastered it's good. I add some paprika to mine. It has a kind of smokey flavour anyway. Do you have many soups left? Is this your first time on Exante?

4.5 stone should be off in no time at all! Stick to it 100% and you will be at goal by Christmas. I need to lose 8 stone. Not going to happen by Christmas but should be able to put a big dent in it.

Headache will pass - once in ketosis your headache will be a thing of the past. x
 
Thanks... this is my first time on exante and have come to realise all the soups are VILE! I still have quite a lot left as I bought the two week starter pack.
I had the porridge oats this morning and they were too sweet (and exploded in the microwave)!
I am going to keep at it unil 12th August when I go away for 10 days to China (with work) but plan to make healthy choices... hope it doesnt undo my good work.
Have you tried the other meals? Am thinking of getting some to break it up!
 
I know that porridge explosion well ;) I open the door when it starts to bubble up too much and let it settle back down.

I haven't tried any of the other meals. I have 4 months worth of packs and cannot justify buying more yet.

I had a headache last night but have been fine so far today. I am hoping to be in ketosis for work tomorrow as I will be cleaning for 8 hours!!! Usually work 5 hours a day while my daughter is at school but we have condensed the hours so that I have 4 days off and 3 whole days at work during the holidays. It's going to be a killer! I'm just so glad it's cooled down a bit.

That's nice... then you get to spend time with your family :D
Maybe I will order the cabonara or go for the 50 mixed meals.... I'm so tired today...

Yep I've done it before but never got past the 3 week mark so that is my first goal.

Just back from work and my feet hurt so much! However I felt like I had lots of energy and wasn't particularly hungry. Only a 0.4 lb loss today. Will be interesting to see if I lose more tomorrow after my 8 hour work out!
 
I will do just over 2 weeks and then have a break while away hope it doesnt all pile back on but not sure to try and do low carb while away or low cal?
Any ideas anyone? I'm in China travelling about with work so harder to make shakes etc and need to go to meals with clients

Hiya :)

It's going well, I've been working my longer shifts these last few days and have been absolutely shattered so not been on to update. I'm still going strong. I've not been hungry and have a funny taste in my mouth. I think ketosis has set in!

How are you getting on?

I have been loving the shakes and now can't stomach the soups. The ready meals are ok. How are you finding everything rolypoly?
I have had a couple of oopsies and had 200 cals of tuna the other day and a seafood salad at Carluccios last night. I guess this might have affected me a bit but will remain on packs only until weds night when I have a work dinner. I will avoid carbs for this.
I'll doing my first proper weigh in tomorrow!!! Hopefully the bit of actual food I had won't do too much damage to my hard work.:gen147:
 
Shouldn't do too much damage as all low carb and low calorie. Just be careful not to fall into the trap of a little this and a little that wont hurt. It can be a very slippery slope!! Good luck for weigh in :fingerscrossed:

I like the shakes, carbonara and porridge - don't like the bars but can eat them.

I put on 0.2 lb today. A bit disappointed but I have stuck to packs 100% so I know I can't really have put weight on. Also my first official weekly weigh in is due tomorrow and I've only lost 5 lbs so far. Not as much as I had hoped :sigh:
 
Hi Roly

Don't be disheartened by the scales this morning. The water will sort itself and come your official weigh in you'll be fine. 5lb so far is fab - I know as dieters we always want more off!
