Morning. Well only 0.6 lbs off over night so a total loss of 5.6 lbs over the week. Not a great loss for me!! I usually lose at least 7 lbs and anything up to 11 lbs. Why so low?? :confused: Could it be because I am still drinking sugar free squash?
Oh well - I'm not going to give up. Had my porridge this morning and I have really gone off it. It has a horrible aftertaste :yuk: and I still have over 100 left!! Going to try adding more water to it tomorrow because I make it quite thick and it's hard to swallow.

We are popping into town today and then to my mums. Have a good day x
 
5.6 off is great in your first week. I have never lost more than 2 pounds a week but it all starts to mount up over the weeks.

I lost 7.6lbs :) You are doing well Roly.... just keep at it!
I'm going to have some food in the week as have a meal out on weds and a weekend away (I know excuses, excuses)
I will try to get some exercise in to help and will remain on exante for the other days

I absolutely failed at staying motivated!! I am sooooo angry with myself! Why oh why do I do this every time. I have binged today so probably undone every bit of good I did. I will 100% be out of ketosis :mad:

I just hope I can get back on track tomorrow because I really don't want to give up!

Ah no.

You should see what I've just written in my diary. I'm such a failure honestly. :(

Lets both brush ourselves down and commit to a 100% day tomorrow and we'll soon be back on the right track.

I'm definitely up for a 100% day tomorrow. I have always been a bit rubbish at getting back on track. Maybe this time will be different?!

I have sorted out all my packs for this week ready to get straight back on it. I can't believe I did this!! I am so stupid! :doh:
 
Morning.

Back up to 18 st 4.6 lbs. A gain of 2 lbs :( If I stick to packs - I should get that back off in a few days. Feels like last week was a complete waste of time now and it's all my own fault.

I will have a shake just before we go out this morning and take a bar with me as I don't know how long we will be out. I am starving this morning!! I haven't missed that feeling. I can't wait for that empty feeling again.

hope you've had a good day today. I've had a full on day but managed to do ok - just water intake that I need to increase so I'll have plenty this evening.

Hi Roly Poly. Welcome and good luck with your journey. I wouldn't worry tto much when you have a blip. The important thing is to put blips behind you, make a fresh start and treat every day as a new beginning rather than think you've blown it, give up and go into self destruct mode!
 
Morning. So after a couple of days faffing around, I managed an almost 100% day yesterday :) I had a shake before work and I nibbled at the bar during the day. My mum was looking after my daughter for me and she stayed for a sleepover as my mum has her today too...anyway I went there after work so see my little girl and my mum did me a chicken salad for tea - just chicken, mixed leaves, cucumber and tomato. This was carb friendly so wasn't too worried and much better than 12 kitkats!!

My weight went back up to 18.5.6 but today I was 18.3.8.

I'm ready for a 100% day x
 
Best of luck :) I'm going to sound like a hallmark card now but the best thing is to take one day at a time and keep looking forward not back. The only thing that stops me having a binge is knowing how mad I'll be at myself on weigh in day haha.

Well done on getting back into the swing of things Roly. It can be terribly difficult but your heading the right way.

My two children are going to my mums today for a few days as she doesn't live local so it's a nice bit of time for them together and I'll collect them on Saturday. Be very strange not having them at home but at least I can hit the gym a few times this week now.

Hope today's another positive one.
 
Hi Roly. You need to stick at it and I'm sure you will! We all have blips but the main thing is to 'generally' stick to plan!
 
Hiya :)

I did it!! I got back on track after a lapse - this is the first time EVER!!! I am so pleased with myself and after a 3lb gain at the start of the week, I still managed a 3lb loss by the end of the week. What I have realised is that a couple of days off plan isn't ideal but it isn't the end of the world! Yes my loss is less than it could have been but I could have gained the whole lot back if I didn't get back on plan. I must remember this and learn not to ditch the diet because of one wobble. Although saying that, I will be avoiding lapses in future because it was very hard getting back on packs - I was absolutely starving!!

Also.....I'm in the 17's!!! This is very exciting! I am a very happy bunny this morning. Feeling even more motivated to get to the 16's now.

Starting weight - 18 st 8.2 lbs
Week 1 (18 st 2.6 lbs) - 5.6 lbs
(Day 1 -1.4 lbs Day 2 -0.4 lbs Day 3 -1 lbs Day 4 -1.2 lbs Day 5 -1.2 lbs Day 6 +0.2 lbs Day 7 -0.6 lbs)
Week 2 (17 st 13.6 lbs) - 3 lbs

Total loss so far - 8.6 lbs

 
Brilliant! Youst keep at it and the weight will drop off! I had a pretty dismal week this week and still lost 1lb. You're right, it's important not to ditch the diet just because of one lapse!
