Rumbly Tums Diary - restart 2013 :)

Stayed the same today. But all is well as it the proper weigh in tomorrow and proper measurement day and photo day, so I can compare.

We can do this.

Woop ... doesn't sound much when you count them down.

I am dreading my weigh in tomorrow though, coz I know from food lady night and this morning I am gonna be holding all of it!
 
You just have accept it might be crap or you might have sts ! at least you had a lovely night out x

Heeeeee! Client from last week been in to pic up prints today and said "you look fantastic".
Maybe cos I'm nicer clothes than last week but I also have make up on.
8lbs loss is nothing really, in the grand scheme if things but I'm taking that compliment.
Face is looking slimmer, mind.
 
Enjoying a coffee, thinking about the 15 weeks countdown. Can't do it without you chicks.
Nothing can stop me but my lack of control. It's empowering when I bypass the foods in our fridge and plum for thoughts about dream outfits I'll be wearing. I have verb browsing had net for pretty little outfits for when I reach goal.
I'm really in the zone.
Keeping myself busy is really helping me.

Got back and my house is freezing... 11 degrees in the lounge so it's a little chilly....


Roast lamb in the oven for my last meal of the weekend and then I'm focused to be back on it again tomorrow, joining you on the chicken breast and veg... :)

We are all back together and loving it.....

where are you, chickies? Hope you are all coping or hibernating under a blanky and hating the world cos your starving?! Youa re NOT starving, you are just missing out on food that HATES you. Food that clings to your thighs and makes you feel sluggish and slobby.

As we take our medication to make us feel better (our delicious and nutritious shakes) - it proves to us that we are identifying our "illnesses" and we want to make ourselves "better" - right?

Ok, I have a small meal on a night time but its hardly the size of the usual tucker I used to give myself. And really, we were not satisfying a hunger, we were satisfying a greed for taste. I mean, you can fill up on lettuce leaves and satisfy a hunger. But filling our plates with crap that was enjoyed for 5-8 minutes - was it really worth it? NO!

My tip is to enjoy your shake over a 15 minute period. The frothier and bubblier, the better. If you have vanilla or choc shakes, add coffee to make a latter or mocha (hot or cold). Then when thats done, glug 500mls of water to top you up and make yourself feel full. Did you know that ice cold water burns calories way more than room temp water? When you feel hungry again, go and brush your teeth or put your coat on and go for a walk. Or have a nap.

There was a post by Starlit Cazza on the main board about taking 3 hours to eat a Cambridge Lemon bar. Not sure I could ever make one last for 3 hours - that's impressive willpower!
 
Glad you had a good night kes!! Haha rumbly you do make me laugh. I have been very busy, cleaning out my fat clothes lol then my partner took me clothes shopping for a few bits and I brought them all in one size too small. He also treated me to new make up so I haven't had time to think about being hungry, just about wearing my new smaller clothes in a few weeks :) feeling good!! Xx
 
Ahhhh back home in my own bed. There is nothing better!!

Kirsty, I chucked out a load of clothes last weekend. This leaves a space in my wardrobe earmarked for me new slinky ones.

Well it's official weigh in day. Think I've stalled at 8lbs. Will weigh in later this morgen. Funny really, every time I do CD (this is my third run but twice before, I never fully got to goal)....... I always lost 8lbs in my first week.

Your first weeks weight loss is water. I must, naturally - when overweight - carry 8lbs of water. I was going so well up to Saturday. Then sts yesterday and have resigned myself to sts today. You watch, I'll lose 2lbs over night.

I'll measure myself and get my girl to take a picture of me tonight. Then I'll share it on here. Eeeew, not pretty.
 
Love preparing for official weigh in day. I dont moisturise ........that adds weight, lol
I have a bath and blow dry my hair so I'm all fresh.
I don't put deodorant on either or makeup up........ Clearly eyeshadow and lippy and mazzy add to the pounds. Tee hee.

Buuuuuut this morning I had a coughing fit. And I kind of was a bit sick. Gross, I know. Then guess what? I immediately thought...... Hooray, extra fluid out of my body makes for a lighter weigh in, right?

Joking aside, I'm off for a bath..........
 
so funny because I have all the same thoughts in regards what might put a bit of unnecessary weight on :) Ooo maybe i'll be brave and put a pic up but I'll see xx

So how was it.
I was like that last week, loose a few pounds then stall for a few days. Loose a pound stall a few days etc...

Official weight loss in week one is -8.5lbs. YES! I lost 1/2 a pound since yesterday. BOOM!
Lost -8 inches too, two off my thighs, which is weird as I normally lose it off my bellies first. But inch lots in the first week is not fat, its water. Next week will be better for inch loss.

I am awesome - how are awesome are you this week?

No, not all of that 8lbs is water. :D Around 3-4 pounds of it will be fat. Your liver in its fully glycogen-loaded state contains about 450g glycogen. But each gram of that is bound with 3-4g water. So around 4-5lbs of your loss is glycogen and water loss, though that varies slightly from person to person. You definitely lose fat in week 1 - cos what did you burn for fuel once your glycogen stores were depleted? Yep - fat! Hurrah! :clap:
