I know, the difference in the amount of carbs in different vegetables is quite surprising, it's an education
I don't mind horror films but he chooses horror films every. single. time. lol Never a comedy or anything just to lower the amount of psychological damage I'm taking
Just had pasta carbonara with cauliflower (200g - 62 cals, 4.2g carb) and some boiled chicken - skin removed - which was 0g carbs but I'm unsure of how many calories as I misread the pack! I'm realising now that the chicken might have been somewhere around 200 cals on its own, so for the whole meal that gives me a total of 450 calories. I'm debating whether or not to skip my next pack to make up for the extra 200 cals I've had (I'm not bothered about the carbs as that's within my allowance). I know we're meant to have all 3 packs a day though. And I don't want to be one of those people who panics over a few extra calories as I'm eating so little in comparison with what I normally eat. Or I could just exercise and burn off the extra 200 cals.
Opinions on a postcard please lol
Got a slight headache which happened last time on day 2, but it's not as bad as it was before. I've kept myself busy so far today which has been good, and while my meal was just cooking I cleaned the kitchen, mopped the floor, bleached my mop heads, did a load of washing, fed the dogs and cats and washed some dishes. So that was a fairly active 45 mins
I'm really looking forward to getting back to work. I was almost at the end of my first shift at a new job when I broke my foot, so really want to get back to it. I think it will also help to keep me busy as I will be working 4-11pm 3/4 days a week so will help me avoid temptation (as evenings tend to be my 'weak' time), but will more than likely be working from earlier in the day aswell, and on my days off I'm hoping to pick up extra shifts to earn more money.
The only danger will be any temptation I might feel to nip in to shops/takeaways during gaps between clients. I'm hoping I'll be ok and will try to behave myself, maybe just go for walks in the gaps instead
