Sarah's Lose Weight and Get Fit Diary!

Had a good day foodwise yesterday... only ate 804 cals. Worked really hard at work running around for 5 hours.

Went in to town later on and didn't have any alcohol. Had very bad tummy pains and felt sick... thought is might have been lack of food all day so me and my friend shared some nachos... would have taken me to about 1000 cals for the day.

Later realised the reason for pain and nausea was effects of the morning after pill... don't ask! Had a slight accident... will make sure I am more careful in the future!!

As a result of that I am now on my period again, only 1.5 weeks after finishing the last one... gutted! So, I'm really hoping that isn't going to effect my weigh in tomorrow.

I am going for a consltation to get the implant tomorrow - does anyone have one? And does anyone know whether it might effect my weight?

Oh... and today...

B: WW yoghurt (50)
L: wrap, skips, Milky Way (434)
D:

Haven't had any dinner yet.... will have to see about that. I have work soon but my lunch was late so don't think I will have anything to eat just yet.

I'm realy pleased with myself this week :)

Exercise... I danced to the early hours of this morning, and I am working 5 hours tonight.

Well done Sarah, you are doing so well :)

well done on the 4lbs! :)
I have never had the implant but a friend has but she had it taken out because it made her very hormonal and down and I have heard that it can effect weight, not sure though! just discuss it with your GP.
hope your well x

Well done. You are great at this dieting x x

hi sarah, ive had the implant in for just over a year now after coming off the pill and its affected me wrongly in loads of ways especially weight gain, i find that its harder for me to lose weight and i gained over 2 stones while on it but it might affect u differently. well done on your weightloss xx

Hi Sarah :) Hope you don't mind me joining in on your diary? but i noticed that you are calorie counting too and about the same weight as me :)

You are doing so well! it's interesting reading your meal plans. I find wraps good too, can fill them with loads of filling and then it's less bread :) Skips and Quavers are brilliant too for being tasty and low cal.

Have you any more tips on low calorie foods?

Hope youre having a good day today?

Oh and btw I have had the implant for over 3 years now (just had it changed in fact) and I find it brilliant, it made me a bit hormonal to start with but that soon settled, and also it made my periods stop which is just brilliant for me! Annnyway, just thought I would throw that in there since everyone seems to have had bad experiences with them :S mine's been brilliant though.

Take care Sarah :)

Hi!

I basically live on wraps and skips at the moment! I know it isn't the healthiest diet, but I am working lots of hours, which are odd times too, so wraps and skips are so easy to take with me!

Other staples for me are Twister ice lollys (80), Philadelphia light, wafer thin ham, most weight watchers products.

I am starting university in September and once there I will be changing my diet so include more veg and also to cut down costs - I live at home at the moment so don't need to worry!

Twister ice lollies are only 80 calories??? I love them! :D

Yeah I am a bit like that, need to eat things on the go, or can't be bothered to cook too much when i get home... but yeah wraps are easy to do. I also make them with veg in and put them in the oven with some low fat cheese melted on top, so they make a nice tea meal too.

Ah i find it so much more expensive to eat better! It really shouldn't be like that but it always seems it to me... sigh. Although if you have a good local market for fruit and veg then that helps! I lived of jacket potatoes when I was at Uni :)

Well hope you're enjoying your day today? You up to much?

Well today...

Got to work at 8:30 and was quite looking forward to it - working with another person so was going to be quite chilled... but he called in sick... ahhh! Ended up spending the morning running around, the best exercise ever! Only worked til 12:30 though so that was good.

Then got home and went for a 5.5 mile walk with a friend, along a river, which was lovely.

B: 125g Tesco Healthy Living Cottage Cheese with Pineapple (113)
L: Tesco Healthy Living Seeded Wrap (167), 40g Philadelphia Light Sweet Chilli (62), 4 slices of wafer thin ham (40), salad
S: Passionfruit sorbet (107)
D:

Not sure what I will have for dinner yet. May try to find some sort of prawns in the freezer?!

So total calories for today at the moment are: 578
Exercise calories are: 959!

Hi Sarah, well done on your good day yesterday!

The walk sounds lovely along the river, the best kind of exercise i think is where you're with friends and don't realise you're really exercising.

So did you just have cottage cheese for breakfast? did you not have it on anything?

What did you go for for tea in the end then?

Hope youre having a nice day today :)

I just had the cottage cheese for breakfast... but it was just straight out of the pot because I was at work and in a rush. Otherwise I might mix it with a tin of mushrooms, half a tin of sweetcorn and some ham!

I forgot I was supposed to be having tea with my cousin, so we had pasta and Phish Food ice-cream!! Not good for the diet.

We got a DVD and as I sat down to watch it I got a phone-call saying my uncle had died. He is only 31, and has had cancer, so I left and went home to be with my family.

So, yesterday was horrendous, the worst day of my life. I was looking after his children who are 1, 5 and 7, and just being with the family. He is a footballer so we went to the pitch where hundreds of people had left flowers, cards, scarves, etc, which was amazing but just the hardest thing I have ever had to do I think.

Yesterday's food was.... half a pot of cottage cheese, and then I picked at some biscuits, and then had half a burger at a pub, a vodka, and no dinner but some cheesecake.... the most random day of food ever. Probably was still under my cals just because I felt sick every time I ate something!

Today I woke up and just thought, f*ck it, I'm going to eat what I want. But, I had been thinking last night that I really want to do a skydive, and I could do it to raise money for bowel cancer, and so I want to get to a weight I feel comfortable doing it.... you can be the weight I am now but I would want to be lighter.... so here is a new motivator for me!

Aw I am so sorry to hear that Sarah, how sad, that is so young and seems so unfair :( It was so lovely that you went to the pitch though and so many people paid their respects.

Take care Sarah and love to you and your family at this sad time.

Ah well no worries on the food! in these times there are waaaaay more important things! so just take your time.

Ahhhh lovely idea on the sky dive though to raise money, aw. That'll be excellent motivation too!

I send hugs your way. Hope you're ok.

Sarah, this is the first time i have posted to you, your news is soooo sad, it certainly brings home what is important in life.

My heart goes out to you and your family at this sad time.

xx

What a tragic loss of a young man's life, so unfair.

Sending love to you and your family to get through this difficult time.
