Yay :D My Mum lost 1lb, which she was quite happy about. She's had a play with the different plans this week. Thanks for asking :) she was happy as she got the bananas and orange out of my SOTW bag haha xx

Hey :) sorry it's taken me so long to reply, I was away. I'm really finding the group helpful, definatly keeps me a bit more motivated. It's taster night tonight and I've made syn free bhajis :)

Stuck to plan all week, apart from dinner on Monday, which I'd already decided I was going to have off as we have a tradition where we al eat out together on the last night. I had wedges and cheese, which wasn't too bad, although I then managed to scoff my way through 8 mini millionaire shortbread squares! :sign0007:Hoping it doesn't have too much of an impact on WI tonight, I only have to lose 1lb to get my half stone sticker! xx
 
I put on 1lb. And I now have a full blown post-festival cold. Bleurgh.

Thinking about it, there are several things that contributed to my gain, and I'm just going to put it behind me and move on. Not feeling brilliant tonight though :(

On a positive note, I won a free week in the raffle tonight.

Awww but 1lb is nothing though that will be off (+more) come your next WI I am sure a lot of the time it's just water retention...in my case mostly alcohol retention after weekends haha. So you have done brilliantly, well done. :)

But better to just put it behind you as if you had a good weekend it was worth it :)

Why you not feeling brilliant, is it that pesky cold? Ps I LOVE millionaires shortbread that's my all time ultimate fav biscuit :)

I think water retention is a big part of it, I wasn't drinking as much water as I do at home, and I was more active so my body probably held onto what I was taking in for dear life! I also didn't have such easy access to fresh fruit as I do at home so wasn't eating as much of that either.

Yeah, I just feel all bunged up and I have a sore throat. Not helped by the fact that I have to go into work today to get my portfolio stuff sorted out :(

I'm sat in bed with a bowl of grapes and strawberries with a vanilla mullerlight over at the moment though, which is lovely :)

Hehe, they're mine too :) My sister bought a tub of them as snacks for everyone, I was so impressed that I manages to resist them until Monday afternoon!

Well, I've stuck to my food plan today :) was meant to be going out for a leaving do from work, but as I had a gain this week I really wanted to be good so didn't want to ruin things by going out for indian! Plus, I'm still full of cold so didn't fancy a night out with a big group of work people, and to be honest I can't really afford it anyway! My flatmate and I went to the cinema instead :) I tried freezing a mullerlight and took that with me - interesting.

I'm currently sat in bed with a mug of proper hot chocolate. I'm slightly miffed as I lost one of my nose studs while I was washing my face, so had to put a different one in and feeling slightly wonky now :(

Hot chocolate's nice though! Night folks xx

Well, it's been a hard day today. Don't want to go into too much detail, but had to deal with a situation that I've never been in before, and it was pretty tough. I'm kinda feeling the need for some chocolate, but really trying to resist. What I really want is a nice guy to cuddle up to, but that's not going to happen!

Think my flatmate and I are going to the cinema again later, just because I want to get out of the house. I think I want to go to the pub, but not sure I can be bothered with getting dressed and making myself look that presentable. At least in the cinema we'd be sat in the dark.
 
Just got in from the pub, had a fab night, exactly what I needed :D

Some arse nicked my cardigan, but there was an awesome band on in there (with a rather lovely drummer!), and we got chatting to them, and ended up coming home with their T-shirts! Hehe :D

Was such a giggle, and had a good old dance around, which hopefully will help come WI!
 
Having dinner at my Dad's today, and I have no idea what he's cooking. I know whatever it's with will be with new potatoes and steamed veg, but it's what the 'it' is that concerns me! Had a conversation with him about it, apparently if I hadn't phoned it was going to be broccoli, mushroom and nut bake or something along those lines. I requestedthat it not be something with nuts or too much cheese in, as I really don't want it to have a high syn value!

I said that I have the recipe for the mushroom and lentil loaf which is really good that I could make and take with me, but he said he wanted to make something. What worries me most is that he tends to use a lot of oil and stuff when he cooks, the food tastes amazing, but not good for the diet!

Both him and my stepmum are trying to lose a bit of weight too, so hopefully it will be ok. He's asked me to take my books with me so he can have a look! I wouldn't normally be this concerned, but I was expecting to lose 1lb and get my half stone sticker last week, but I gained, so I really want to lose at least 2lb this week and get it.

Will update with a food plan later when I know what I'm having.
