What a douchebag boss! He's probs just stressing that you're leaving so he'll be a man down and is taking it out on you. Not long now huni...chin up and show him he won't get to you cos you are outta there!! :)

Mmm I love tht pizza! Impressed with the restraint in only eating 2/3rds! How was buffet lunch?! Xxx
 
OMG - just had the CEO on the phone telling me he's personally disappointed in me leaving at a 'business critical time'. What a total ******! If they weren't so hideous to work for, I wouldn't be leaving!! Lots of angry tears coming out now and my office has glass walls.

So sorry to vent this here...just feel so angry and upset and just want to walk out and never come back!

Yeah, just went and did a few laps and feel a bit better, but still on the edge.

I'm sorry to keep moaning, honey, it sounds like some kind of soap opera. My life used to be so run-of-the-mill until I started here. Now it feels like a flippin' circus!

They are just so ridiculous - I'm sure they don't live in the real world! His reaction totally floored me so I wasn't as eloquent as I would have liked when I tried to tell him how unhappy the whole of the UK management team is because of the way they have been treated.

Bunch of tossers, the lot of them. Grr.

Don't be sorry for moaning, by the sounds of it you def need to as it sounds horrendous!
Have you got any holiday you can take? Or would they go crazy?

I guess you just have to keep thinking that its only 2 more weeks. xx
 
I've only got 4 days which I want to take w/c 22nd so I can leave on the 19th. I've just got to toughen up, get my head down and get it over with I think.

What a tw@t. Seriously, what do they think they'll achieve by being a-holes? Gets my back right up when I hear things like this.

I'd fully go for head down, do what's necessary and just try and get it over with as quickly as possible. If there is any more verbal or written comments then just go to HR. Tell them that although you may be leaving the reaction you've had and the unnecessary comments are unjust and you would like to complete your time at the company without aggro. If HR are unwilling to help then put in a formal complaint that cannot be ignored.

Thanks Minks. They are really showing their true colours now and reminding me that I've made the right decision!

HR are on my side although pretty powerless against the big bods from across the equator. They have assured me that I can leave on the date I want to and the company won't try and pursue me or anything, which is good.

Next week will be OK as my boss is travelling in the far east, but he's in the week after and it's going to be hell on Earth. Will try and get as much handed over next week as poss so that if it all gets too much, I can take my things and disappear! xx
 
Lovely weekend thanks Minks, really chilled. Work is horrid - my director is basically telling HR that I haven't been doing my job properly (totally untrue). He's such a nasty piece of work. Trying to finish my handover notes in case I walk when he gets back from Malaysia next week! Don't think I can be in the same room as him again.

Grr. Anyway, sorry you're still not feeling great, you poor thing. Is it worth asking the doc?xx

Wow he really does sound like a horrid man. Maybe he is trying to cover his arse because he hasn't been doing something he should and now you are going can pass the buck? Sounds silly and sneaky but may be a possibility. Or he is just bitter that you are going. Either way, what a c*ck.

Get everything done as quickly as possible and if need be you can just leave next week out of the picture.

I think I may have to speak with my docs if this continues much longer, it brings on unbearable pains at times but totally cool the next (well, still awful bloating but in comparison!).

hope today has been smoother and with less agro xxx
 
Aww thanks Minks. You've totally hit the nail on the head with the bottom covering - I think he's terrified that the team will be totally out of control when I'm gone so making me look bad lets there be an excuse for that to happen (as opposed to the fact that he's never here and won't be able to manage the team properly from the other side of the world)

Anyway, the official email about me leaving has gone out today and I've had some lovely chats and cuddles from colleagues. Restores some of my faith in people! lol.

Feel so sorry for you at the mo - must be so uncomfortable. Really hope one of your many remedies help! xx
 
Hey, he really does sound horrible :-( it's not very nice for you to be involved with him but it does sound as if there is something underneath the nastiness (surely nobody can be so horrible, for no reason) anyway your doing the right thing preparing yourself to leave early in case you have to.

It sounds as if you have some lovely colleagues who will keep you sane while your working your notice. :)

Food has been a bit of a nightmare! I've been really bad at saying no and I went to a friend's last night for proper home cooked indian food which was so naughty but sooooo nice!!

I'm a bit out of control, but with everything going on at work, I'm trying not to give myself a hard time. Once I'm out of here, I'll be ok!

My boss is one of those people who is just out for himself and will do whatever he needs to do to protect his position and stamp his authority. I've always known it, just never really been on his bad side like this before! Luckily everyone else knows what he's like too and I think the rest of the management team are being great at sticking up for me!

Urghh he sounds like such a poop.

Bet you're counting down the minutes already! Must be such a nice feeling to have the light at the end of the tunnel though and know you're moving onto bigger, better and well deserved things! :)
