Yeahhh thanks sweetie ... i think its just the past week with my mum, etc ..... and works been crammed ... so i suppose the whole puttin weight on didnt help (i put on half a pound btw - hardly a ball breaker eh? )

Half a pound?? I thought it was gonna be worse than that the way you spoke of it before. That's nothing my love, nothing to worry about. You had a hard and emotional week too so you need to give yourself a break.
Ya know, we're all way too hard on ourselves sometimes. I think you're frickin fab... And I wish I was your bloody mum lol!! Proud as punch I'd be! XxX

WOW! dunno how u managed to go back to uni, i couldnt go back now ..... i couldnt cope with placements, rude nurses who think their all that and assignments .. so goooo you !!!!!!! I specialise in high dependancy/icu and theatre recovery .. initially my job is to recover the post operative patient but it usually involves recovering surgeries from cardio-oesophagectomies, to hepatectomies to kidney transplants ....... its a tough job at times but very rewarding ..... i could NOT work on a ward, im happy with one patient at a time (and 2 on nights) ..... lol xxxxx

Yeah, i dnt like ward wrk... Worked in a cardiac catheter suite... V gd fun ;)
I'll probs wrk on the childrens ward for a bit wen i qualify jus to consolidate ma learning really.

The rude nurses (several who have been qualified less time than me) soon get a reminder that "you were a student once...." when they're bein all high n mighty. Lol. I'll probs b their boss one day :p

Jay xx

I did A placement in the cardiac catheter labs ... all stents, cardioversions & ablations ... hehe ... sadly this placement included many nob ed nurses .. but very interesting :D;) .. just a shame i tried to be anywhere but there due to the nob eds .. hehe! i have students sometimes and im never mean or rude .. ya no, im sure some nurses forget students are only normal ppl too at the end of the day ... honestly! ooo, i bet a childrens ward would be fun but also very sad :( its sad seein of the adult patients with problems ... god, id be in constant tears on a peads ward ... :( your very brave Jay :D xxxxx

Oki.... First one to post this morn... I've lost the 1lb i put on last week.... Startin to feel a bit demotivated now as i'm followin the plan, not avin all ma weeklies n still struggling to lose weight :(

Its ma birthday in a few weeks, and i wana get below 10st for it.... 1.5lb to lose...... Seems do-able, but dnt kno wot i'm guna do any different....
Anyone got any words of wisdom??

Gd luck wiv ya WI's!!

My wise words go along the lines of "use your weeklies".

No, I'm serious. Or if you don't wanna use them all... Midweek have ONE blowout day (hear me out) and then back to 29 the next day. So you could do 29 till tuesday and on tuesday eat more than that (like 49) and then back to 29 till saturday.
That's only using 20 weeklies (just in case you don't want to use them all).
What this does is shock your metabolism and can aid weight loss. It is worth a try to do this... or just simply use your weeklies as you want. What weight are you at the mo hon? Have you much left to lose? Xx

Ok I foresaw a gain this week and lo and behold I gained. Luckily only a quarter of a pound. I can get that off next week :) trying to be positive.
I'm now bang on 11st!

Hey. Dnt b disheartened. I kno it's tough but ya can do it.
Are u using yer dailies sensibly?? As in, I kno yer sticking to plan but are using yer dailies on good healthy sensible food rather than having 2/3 good food n 1/3 goodies?? If so this cud b why it's slo. I kno allot of ppl on here still eat lose while eating treats n goodies but as u'v do little to lose this cud b holding u back...also, are u drinking the minimum 1.5ltrs of water everyday?? This too cud b a factor...

Oh also... I haven't been to the loo (TMI) in a couple days which could be a factor too. Hoping I have a better week. Really want a loss next week.

Well ... i take dulcolax once a week ... and all i can say is, if your bowels are more regular than mine (once a week, sometimes not even that, once every fortnight) make sure your near a toilet ............... Its like waterfalls some weeks:eek::eek: and i only take 2 pills once a week ....... LOL! So consider senna first .. hehe!
