Yeah it was.
I hope so lol it's not just the money I can't afford to lose its the exercise lol
I have a nu me meal at the ready for my lunch lol.

Yeah it annoys me when they do stuff like that because I takes me nearly half hour to get to work. It's a complete waste of my time.

Oh well 11 hours today!

Hey everyone.


I haven't really been updating my food diary this week more out of lack of effort to do it than anything. I so have a pen and paper journal that I track all food in though song have been tracking.

I've used nearly of not all of my dailies every day this week. And I've earnt 30 activity points. Used 2 weeklies. So I've definitely eaten more.

However as you all know I weigh pretty much every day and I've been hovering around 16st10 and 16stone11. That's a sts or a gain of 3/4 of a lb. I'm not happy with this at all as you can imagine.

To kick start my weight loss I did a detox which lasts 9 days. This was back in February and I lost 12lb on it so I've decided that tomorrow and Tuesday I'm going to be detoxing just to try and get away from the lbs that I've been hovering around. I can't face a put on or a sts it'll really knock me so I need to rectify this before the scales on Wednesday here's hoping to a few lb off over the detox!
The only reason I'm not doing it today is because me an 11 hour shift and no food is not a good combo haha

Are u only doing the detox when you're not working? I think it would be unsafe when u are? I really think you'd see better results if you are all your dailies and weeklies. More is More :) x

I'm working tomorrow but because its only day 1 of the detox it won't be too bad. And it's not a massive 11 hours tomorrow so ill be okay. Ill just make sure I have my shake in the middle of the day :)

I really don't think my body works like that. I've eaten more this week and put on so unfortunately more food for me means a gain.

That's a shame :-( Im not a doctor but I still think you're not eating enough for the amount of activity you do, your body could still be in Starvation Mode. Ill still be here to support you on your detox :) x
 
I'm with serena on this one! Your body holds onto fat as it goes into shock when it's not getting any source of food I'd just be afraid that if you detox and then start eating normally again your gona get a gain and then where would you go from there?

I get what you're both saying. But with the detox from day 3-9 you do have a meal so what I'm going to do is gradually up my calories until the next wi. Then go from there. I'm going to try and get to the gym/do some actual exercise over the next week too as I have 4 days off.

When I did it last time I lost 12lb in 9 days and it stayed off I went on to lose another stone after doing it until I stopped dieting all together and just ate rubbish and put a stone on. So I'm hoping just doing 2 days with the shake and the supplements that come in the pack I will be ok :)

I'm in work today 12-11. Very long shift lol for the 4th Sunday in a row :/.

I don't think you can say you've put on if you haven't been to WI yet, look what happened last week...STOP weighing yourself daily, you'll do yourself an injury!!!!! May be just see it out till WI & detox if you still feel you need to after WI. It's not how fast you win the race it's getting there, changing your habits & exercise that will make the real difference & it sounds like you're doing all that. The problem with quick losses, you see quick gains as soon as you're off plan again. Plus I agree with the others & think if you start seeing sts/gain your bodies probably gone into starvation mode. Have you been to the doc about your change in diet?? You're doing so well, I just don't want you to hurt your body with anything drastic...

I have had a sts. And a small 1lb loss but last week I lost 6lb so I don't think I'm starving just yet lol.

I'm just planning on doing the detox for 2 days then I will start to gradually build my pints up from 20 to my 36 again to avoid a gain

I can seer going from 21 stone to anorexic. Do you think that's ever happened before lol.

Well it's in comparison to last Sundays 25 haha.

I have just one my first lot of aloe vera gel. Yummy haha. It went down a lot easier than last time trick is to hold your nose! Haha.

On the plus side I weighed this morning and I've lost 1lb and a 1/4 since yesterday. But only 1/2 a lb since last Wednesday lol xxx

Supposed to have it 4 times really but I'm not because I didn't fancy taking it to work with me haha.
You don't have a meal on day one or 2 but as you progress to day 3-9 you have 2 shakes and a 600 cal meal :) x
 
Well I am officially on my break in work. Doing a 9 hour shift today and I get an hour beak. Bit weird as on my 12 hour one yesterday I only had half an hour. Backwards if you ask me.

I've earnt 9 activity points so far today. And I have £13 in tips :) excellent customer service is I do say so myself lol.

Today is going ok so far I'm just having some hot water and lemon because I forgot to bring my shake with me.

I'm such an idiot. I'm not a massive fan of the shake bit it's needed if I'm going to do this detox properly.

Never mind ill just have to make sure I drink it tomorrow lol.

I'm not hungry. I think that's why the gel is so good if you drink it it lines your stomach and you don't want to eat anymore

It's supposed to be really good for ibs and for arthritis. As well as your hair and skin if you drink a little each day.

Oh well we shall see.

That's good that your not hungry esp since your on the go all day! Is the shake flavoured or just plain?

Yes aloe Vera is good for the bowels - gets things moving!! I used to take a tablet the night before WI - usually worked ;)

Sounds like you're doing ok with the detox so far, I've done a juice detox before, but it wasn't that harsh, 4 juices, large salad, bean & veg soup & a few nuts during the day. I found that hard enough!

Can you have the shake when you finish work? Hope you last the day :)
