Just got back from the course thing god i want to argue with the computer it likes you to think as standard even though there are different answers !!!! grrrrr back on monday as we have a school visit tomorrow with dyl

afternoon all just got back from taking dyl to see a possible secondry school ...supposed to be a specialist maths and computing school but the head didnt think that counted for much :/...still it was smaller than the other optin had a nice feel to it too and most of dyl friends will go there so its up to him now

Weigh in not impressed last saturday i had lost a 1lb sunday it was back on totm ,,,but been god as gold not a bit off so not impressed i had better have a good loss next week , this is my first real sts still i didnt go up

went to tesco and grabbed some mine=ce nad chicken and bits going to pop in later and buy fish going to cookit and if its ok will buy more if not oh has fish for tea lol

saturday morning have friends coming for the day later so will have a pv day
suns out but its cold i have a headache and feel blegh but life goes on

hey my little scrumps ,hope ur headache goes soon , do u think ur eating enough ? coz a freind of mine at work has actually said that she doesnt think i eat enough so this week i tried my best to up my food intake like one of the day's i made chilli mince and i made sure i had two bowls i was absoluty stuffed and i though ive over done it but i lost so i was impresssed !!!

so scrumps do u think dyl will choose the school he so yesterday ? i think he will make a good choice because he sound's like a really clever boy !!!!!!!!!!

yep hes going to the maths one from yesterday , he says he likes it because it is smaller ...the other school was into art which hes not, so hes hoping the new one will be less into it ....just got to apply online now

oh nice one , are the school's like our's up in lancs the same has to u have to apply for 3 then u get chosen are are your school's a bit different to that !!!!!!!!

sort of we have a school next door but thats the one he doesnt want to go to .............so the one he does is 7 miles away i have to agree to get him there at my own cost and give a good reason why i want him to go there ...with any luck he should be ok as the schools here usually are not too full if i threaten to home school that helps too lol, they hate to see you put that on the forms !!!

How will he get to and from the school 7 miles away? I thought you had to go to the one in your catchment area? Things might have changed since my day admittedly.

I've often thought Scrumper might be as well to increase her food intake, but she reassures me that she eats plenty...

im fine thanks Jo yes im trying to increase but feel bloated when i do , then again ive had a weekend of pv blergh

the school are supposed to be catchment bit if you will sort transport its your choice ...i already take them to a school 4 miles out of catchment so i will only have to go another 3 the secondry has a breakfast bar so he can be dropped off at 8ish and will be fine there are buses from there to us as well so he wont have any problems

well ive just got back from my courses maths wasnt too bad except i cant use a calculator all the questions that u had to use one i was stumped as we didnt have them when i was at school but i did ok ,next session wednesday
tonight i have to bake cakes for school sale tomorrow and tomorrow i have to help dyl bake a non egg cake for his school thing about ww2 on wednesday

I wont tell OH about the WW2 assignment as he's a real WW2 fanatic and may try to hijack my diary! We even have a WW2 Vickers Machine gun in our garage. Men!

Nikki - your man and mine would be FIRM friends! I admit to being rather ignorant about WWII before meeting him, but have now quite an astonishing knowledge, have visited all sorts of places in France previously unknown to me, and watch all sorts of films/documentaries I never previously would! (You must get him to bring you over to see the Normandy Landing Beaches... lovely sand, restaurants, and walks... the men can go into the museums on their own!)

Scrumps - a weekend of pv bleurgh?!!

I made beetroot soup! Now that's pretty bleurgh! Interesting colour mind, and I'd love to find a top to match it...

My work calculator is a mystery to me too... I know how to use it "simply"... but it can do all sorts of other things if I did but know which buttons to press... I live quite happily in ignorance though!

As for the cakes, pop a sugar free gum in your mouth while you're making them. Impossible to pop anything in your mouth with gum in (I've tested for you!)

as for ww2 this is the third year weve done it in one form or another ...i may have a break next year as dyl leaves this school and maiz has been doing it aswell

dont talk ww1 or 2 my OH was in the raf as a copper and im sick of seeing stuff about the war and such .........
