Having been very naughty over the past 2 days I a back on plan and have decided to try red days for the next 30 days as I believe carbs are causing slower weight losses plus I have pcos so they are my enemy as much as I might love them!

Here is my diary for today:

B: 2 x weetabix and 250ml 1% milk (hexb and hexa)
L: 3 ryvita (hexb) and 3 dairy lea (hea), chicken breast slices and yellow peppers
D: Salad, 1tbsp light mayo (2syns), 57g new potatoes (1.5syns), 2 turkey breast steaks
Snacks: skips 19g (4.0 syns), meringue nest (2.5 syns), 2 apples, mullerlight and activia yoghurt, strawberries, 2 nectarines

Syns: 10
Water: 3.5litres
Exercise: Level 1 of JM's 30 day shred
 
Had to pop to asda to get some food for breakfast having spent the whole day yesterday glued to the tv awaiting news of the royal baby. So here goes the diary for today:

B: 2 whole meal bread (hexb), bacon and 2 eggs, 1 tbsp tomato ketchup (1 syn), coffee and dash of milk (hexa)
L: 2 stuffed portabello mushrooms with BBQ chicken and Chinese style chicken slices, 3 dairy lea (hexa)
D: Salad, 2 x turkey burgers, SW chips (hexb), 1 tsp light salad cream (1.5syn) and 1tsp BBQ sauce (1 syn)
S: Grapes, mullerlight cherry, 3 satsumas, plum, 2 meringue nests (5 syn), raspberries and strawberries

Syns: 8.5
Water: 3.5 litres

I know the feeling on the carb front, i have PCOS too, pasta doesn't half cause me problems!
 
Yep I love carbs but have found red days only ok so far apart from a horrible headache which I am assuming is from carb withdrawal :0
 
Probably, I do mostly red, but do do some EE too, it's seems to only be pasta that affects me. If you find you can't cope with all red you could always give one EE day a week a go, so you can have a few carbs but not enough to cause any problems. Thats what I do with pasta, I only let myself have it once and week and NEVER day before weigh in and i'm usually ok.
 
Thanks ally! Great tips. Yep I plan on making weigh day an ee day so I can have some carbs. Managed to drink 3 litres of water again today but still have a headache. I am not eating chocolate at the mo so it's probably sugar and carb deprivation
 
Today has been a strange day due to having my haircut over lunch so not a proper lunch today.

B: 2 whole meal bread (hexb), bacon medallions and 2 scrambled eggs, 1 tbsp tom ketchup (1 syn)
L: mullerlight vanilla, chicken breast slices, apple, satsuma and nectarine
D: green beans, carrots, cauliflower, 1 potato, 1 parsnip (3syns), lamb (I love red days!), splash of gravy (2syns)
S: grapes, curly wurly (6syns), nectarine, cherries

Syns: 12syns
Water: 3.5 litres
Exercise: rest day (one every 7 days on the shred)

Todays diary so far... Green Day (to help with the headaches)

B: 2 wholemeal bread (hexb), baked beans, 2 scrambled eggs, 1 tbsp tomato ketchup (1 syn), coffee with dash of semi milk (hexa)
L: Salad, 1 tbsp light salad cream (2 syns), baked potato
D: Turkey Steak (hexb), pasta, onions, mushrooms, garlic, peppers, 75g light soft cheese, 2 tbsp light crime France (3syns)
S: 2 apples, cherries, 2 satsumas, raspberries, fudge (5.5 syns), activia yoghurt, mullerlight

Water: 3.5 Litres
Syns: 11.5 syns

Today is also my first shift in my new role, having been made redundant from my other role. Its a late and I finish at 2300pm hence all the fruit to snack on at work. First late shift in 4.5 years... wish me luck! :)

If you want it moving there is a thread in troubleshooting i think and you can ask there. But it doesn't really matter, i post my food diary in my thread on here, and a fair few others do too.
 
So first late shift in 4.5 years went really well and I found I ate less due to it being rather busy so that's a bonus.

Red Day

B: 2 weetabix (hexb), 250ml semi skimmed milk (hexa), banana
L: didn't eat this until about 14pm and I snacked on it as had a late brekkie. Chicken breast, carrot sticks and vegetable snacks with 2 light Philadelphia mini tubs (hexa)
D: whole meal roll (hexb), BBQ turkey steak, roasted vegetables, tbsp extra light mayo (1syn)
S: raspberries, cherries, 1 apple, plum, curly wurly (6syns),

Syns: 7
Water: 3.0 litres
Exercise: day four of JM 30 day shred

Had a sneaky peek on the scales this morning. My official weigh in is on Monday but the scales are showing 6.6lb loss! I love red days! Definitely the way forward for me! 2nd late shift went well, again busy so kept my mind off of food!

B: bacon medallions, 2 scrambled eggs, 2 whole meal bread (Hexb), 1 tbsp tomato ketchup (1 syn) , semi skimmed milk (hexa)
L: Salad, chicken breast slices, 1 tbsp light salad cream (2syns), 35g cheddar cheese (hexa)
D: steak stirfry with lots of veg and noodles (Hexb), sweet chilli and ginger sauce (2.5syns)
S: cherries, raspberries, apple, satsuma, plum and banana, fudge (5.5syns), mullerlight

Syns: 11
Water: 3.5litres
Exercise: day five of JM 30 day shred

So having done the shred for five days I thought I would check measurements - 1 inch from my waist and hips, 1 inch from both thighs, 1 inch from both arms and 3 inches from my chest!!!! Amazing!!! Tomorrow is official weigh day so shall see what the scales say - definitely think red days are for me!

Exercise: 6th day of JM 30 day shred / 24 to go!

So first full week doing red days (I did 6 red and 1 green) and the scales are reading a 7lb loss! Cannot believe it! Couple with my measurements which show an 8 inch loss over my body as a result of the Shred I am beyond thrilled!

Finished late shifts last night so am home for 2 days but am doing 2 red days and having a slight celebration with a glass of wine and curly wurly later on!

L: 35g cheddar cheese (hexa), steak pieces, salad and 1 tbsp light salad cream (2 syn)
D: steak stirfry with scheuan tomato sauce (2.5syns) loads of veg and noodles (Hexb)
S: glass of wine (6syns), curly wurly (6 syns), apple, 2 satsuma, peach, cherries, raspberries

Syns: 16.5
Water: 3.5 litres
Exercise: Day 7 of JM 30 day shred (1st day on level 2 and if was intense)

It's really amazing when you pull off a big loss like that, 30 day shred must be working wonders!
 
Most definitely! Started level 2 today which was a big step up from level 1 but proud of myself for getting through it!

Congrats on your loss! I've been doing EE for about 6 weeks and don't seem to be losing as much as I'd like so am trying a red week this week with my WI on Wednesday. I don't think I'll be anywhere near a 7lb loss but fingers crossed for something!! Also starting 30 day shred this evening. I'm going to die, I'm so unfit right now!!! Your measurement loss sounds fab you, when I'm dying later, I'll think of that to keep me going so thanks!!

Hiya, yeah I didn't get on with EE and tries green days but carbs bloat me so am doing red days and loving them! Let me know how you get on. 30 day shred is fantastic and after a week I am already noticing a difference in my body shape! Good luck xx
