Shrimp's journey!...and this time it's going to be a success

Well done Shrimp!! Fantastic! Wow on that run too  xx

Brill, brill, brilll!!!!!!!!!!! You are a godd example of how exercise and diet work together. Well done :woohoo:

Thank you ladies...don't know how I did it but have then been to the yard and ridden one of my horses. Phew!

house work done and about to do the shopping

Oh wow Shrimp :D
Thats marvellous :D
I wonder how that works if you weigh less after food, water and running

Now this is not a nice thought...but I am thinking its down to the amount of sweat I lost while running. P.s. I did get straight in the bath when I got in!

put deep heat on one knee and both ankles after my bath and I have no pain.

got the details for going into hospital next Wednesday afternoon for my operation...I hate that the details talk you through the odds for things going wrong. I would rather not know

Hi Shrimp. It's scary enough going into hospital for an operation without being told what might go wrong. It just makes you worry. I,m sure your operation will go fine. No point in thinking about it until you actually go in.

Best of luck Shrimp with your Op hopefully it will all go great. I remember having to sign a consent form for my newborn before he went for his op it was terrible but I suppose they have to cover themselves, please God it will all be fine. X

Thank you ladies...I am sure it will be my doctor is fantastic and what he has done/can do is truly amazing. So I am know I am in the best hands. He took a stitch out of my eye ball with a set of tweezers and I did not even feel it....fantastic man!

i am now at the point where I just want my sight back to normal in my second eye...and to stop looking lie David Bowie.

so o today...breakfast shake, horses ridden and now to continue painting the summer house

Oh and my husband has taken a full week to tell me that...

i had lost so much weight that last week at Kings Cross he did not recognise me at first ... I'll take that as a compliment after 28 years married and being together for 31 years

Lost the will to live painting the summer house...this seems like a never ending job

Sending lots of hugs Shrimp :gen126:

Understandable that today would be an emotional day. My Mum lost her Dad before I was born, 28 years ago, and she has spent most of today in tears. I hope you will be ok hun and feel a little better tomorrow xx

Hi Shrimp. I can feel for you missing your father. I always struggle on fathers' day and at Christmas because my dad died on Christmas eve when I was 21. Doing the Race for Life is also emotional for me because I always run in memory of my dad.

Hey Shrimp, oh I really sympathise. I lost my dad two years ago, anniversary was only just over a week ago and it's such a horrid feeling. I miss him every day and although I'm starting to remember happy times and can laugh about things we went through together, there's always that shadow over me now. And usually when I get really down and there doesn't seem to be a particular reason, thinking about it, it always leads back to my Dad. So I really really feel for you xxx

Hey Shrimp. I hope you are feeling better today xx

Hope you are feeling better today.. :bighug:

LaLadies thank you so much for your posts. I was on a real downer last which is not like me. But today I have been much better and back to my normal self.

stuck to total solution...had a busy day at work and plan to go out for my run in about an hour (fingers cross the heavens don't open)
