Sian's 2015 restart - time to shift the weight once and for all!

Sian - think of those disgusting, yellowy blobs of pretend fat from the meetings! Aren't they supposed to represent 2lb of fat? So, just imagine, you've lost the equivalent of two of those!! Much better than me lately! Sorry to hear you've been having a crap time.

I didn't actually as we went out for lunch, but I asked them if any oil had been used and they said there was none in it. So I'm guessing it's free? Xx
 
Nooooo!!!! Thats not crap! Some people do lose larger amounts but a lot don't either! You have had a stressful week, hopefully chill over the weekend and feel a bit better xx

Stress makes you hang onto to weight Sian. Keep going and it will come off xx

Ah hon I sorry to hear that. I'm not the best at giving advise as I've currently fallen off the wagon but 6lb in 4 weeks is still good everyone looses weight differently some quick some slow just remember it's better 6lb off than on dont be like me and ruin all your good work Xx

aww hun, i can imagine your sad cos most of us would be but its still 4lb less fat on you. im sure the stress hasnt been helping, try and have a relaxing weekend and maybe that will help. chin up. xx

Please don't despair Sian! Look at it this way: 1. You've lost, when if you hadn't been following the plan you would probably have gained. 2. You've been doing this for long enough to know that sometimes there's no rhyme nor reason for losses and gains. 3. You've had an awful lot of stress this year - but you're still determined.

If your coil is causing the bleeding, because of hormones, then it could also be causing you to hold onto weight... Hopefully the tests will sort you out.

Aww sorry to hear you sts this week hun... Like others have said it could be stress etc... But 4lbs in 4 weeks is still fab! :) I'd do anything to lose a pound a week! Lol.... Don't give up hun... You're doing great!!! Xxx

Hey Sian, your problems sound very very similar to mine so I know how you must feel, be prepared for the full bladder for the ultrasound, I found it at killer! X



Don't lose heart Sian, as previous posters have suggested, Gynae problems can have a lot to answer for and your health is the most important thing. Keep your chin up, stay on track, trust the plan and your loss will follow. Believe in Aunty Serena! X

Thanks ladies. I'm feeling a lot more positive this evening. A sts is better than a gain and I know that hormones do funny things to us when it comes to weight. Thank you all for being so positive! Onwards and downwards!

Well I sts this week. I'm obviously just crap at trying to lose weight...officially 4lb in four weeks. A lot of people lose that in one week :( I know that technically it's 6lb in 4 weeks, but that's still not tjat great is it really. Really fed up with everything :(

Try not to feel down about it - we'd all like to lose a stone a month wdn't we? But a pound a week's a healthy rate - well done x

Good stuff on STS. Hormones r crappy things. Can u get the coil removed & try something else or is it already an ongoing process of trial & error? I'm lucky that the pill they changed me 2 has stopped my periods altogether so don't have any problems. Always said it not natural not 2 have them but now I don't it's great!!

Hiya hun! The consultant did offer to remove my coil during the appointment, but I'd rather wait for the results of the tests and the scan before I make a decision. I've had my coil in for over 18 months and the only real issues I've had with it have been since February when my dad was really ill and after he died. I'm convinced stress has something to do with it but the doctors don't seem to think so. I can't use any sort of oestrogen pills etc as I had a blood clot when I was 18 :) We'll just have to see how it goes.

That's not good. I don't think the drs truly understand wot stress is. They decide wot is wrong wi u without really knowing wot is goin on sometimes!! At least u r getin tests n stuff done so here's hoping they find wots goin on.

30 points of alcohol! Feeling a bit squiffy, but had a bloody lovely night out! The great thing about coming home is that nothing seems to change in my absence. I'm going to miss this place when my mum moves! A few people have said I can stay with them though, so I'm sure I'll come back regularly :)
