Hey everyone, sorry I didn't get to catch up today but hopefully I will tomorrow ....I have just spent the last 6 hours talking to my best friend.....who lives in Australia, it was so good to see her, not seen her since 2008 when she "popped" over to celebrate our 50th Birthdays ..she is 10 days older than me .....we talk regularly on the computer and sometimes by phone but tonight was different......she has finally bought herself a webcam and I have one built into my laptop, so we have had a good chinwag for the last 6 hours and it was fan...bl00dy...tastic, almost felt like she was sitting at my kitchen table with me...I love it ...god knows when we'll get together in person again, we can't afford to fly out to her at the moment and she was sposed to be coming over here this year, but her hubby lost his job...so who knows when...so webcam is the next best thing...I am really happy xxxxxxx

Hello lovely Lily. Sounds as though you've had a great time getting caught up. Your food all sounds fab as ever too.
Well I thoroughly enjoyed my second day at the show and met up with more friends. Spent more money I can't really afford but less then on Thursday. ;-) I can resist anything but temptation it seems.
Anyway I'm hoping trailing about at shows for eight hours counts as my 15 mins exercise or I'm not going to make my challenge target this week as there's not enough days left. With the amount of stuff I bought it could also be counted as weight lifting.
Catch up properly with you soon.

I think we can count the walking as your exercise sweetie, unfortunately I won't be able to make the challenge I set myself of tripling everything you do as I now have 2 of the biggest pustules I have ever had on the bottom of my foot, I had to burst them so that I could even walk...I'll say no more, they are a lot better but they're still sore....so well done lovely and I look forward to having a good read on your diary about your exploits over the last few days :hug99: xxxxxx

For those of you that have asked and again for those that haven't :giggle:
Honey Roast Chicken:
Serves 4
4 Breasts of Chicken
6 Large Potatoes, cut up ready to roast.
Marinade
3tbsp Honey x 2
1Tbsp Lemon juice x 2
2Tbsp Worcestershire Sauce x 2
1Tbsp Soy Sauce x 2
1Tbsp White Wine Vinegar x 2
1Tbsp each of Parsley, Smoked Paprika, Basil and Coriander Leaf x 2
Method:
Remove all fat from Chicken Breasts and dice into bite size pieces.
Make 2 batches of the marinade .
Mix all the ingredients for the Marinade in 2 seperate bowls. In one of the bowls of Marinade add the Chicken pieces, make sure they are well covered and marinate in the fridge for at least an hour.
In the mean time parboil the potaoes and then set aside after you have roughened them a little.
Spray a deep roasting pan with fry light and put in a hot (200c) oven to heat for about 10-15 mins, when it's ready put potatoes in the pan and then pour the marinated chicken over the top and cook for about 10-15 mins, then add the second lot of marinade and cook for a further 30-40 mins until cooked to your personal taste.
Serve with vegetables and a thick gravy.
15 syns (+ whatever the gravy is ) = 4 syns per person on EE

I love my webcam, to be totally honest it took me 4 weeks (although I have to be honest I didn't really try to hard to work it out till yesterday as I have been so busy) to work out how to set up the webcam on my laptop lol and turned out it was as simple as downloading windows live messenger, clicking on my friends name while she was online and then clicking on begin video call :d'oh: what an idjeet I am lol So tonight, she is going to connect her Webcam to her Laptop and give me a tour of her house, it's been a long time since we were there last and she has done a lot of work to the house the last 2 years. I could fit my house inside her bungalow about 4 times over, it's massive and in English money cost her less than £100,000, wish they were that price here...actually no I wish I lived there :8855:

Hahaha I love supplying you with the recipes, that's definitely one of my favourites, love the way the honey sauce mixes with the gravy :drool: I could eat it every day i reckon lol
6 hours was nothing hun, we could have gone on for longer but she had to get to shops before they shut and she wanted to go visit some show homes for decor ideas lol...they have a bank holiday tomorrow, it's the Adelaide Cup, the equivalent of our Grand National, we don't get a bank holiday for that race, it's not fair, mind you they also get a bh for the queens birthday and we don't, what's that all about, "snot fair " hmmmph

Thanks hun I will have fun it's great, last time i used a webcam they were in their infancy and very scratchy and picture was carp, but this was clear as day and really felt like she was sat next to me...can't wait .

Believe me hun I am well peed off at the BH's she gets, especially the Queen's Birthday, bl00dy cheek we don't even get that one, they also get a BH for Anzac day too the day they commemerate the fallen heroes of WW1 and WW2, our heroes never get that recognition, yeah ok they do a 2 minute silence or whatever it is on Armestis (sp?) Day, but I hardly call that a fitting tribute to all the men and women that have given their lives for this country....don't even start me off on that subject :argh: :hug99: xxxxxx
