I've been slacking diet wise which is why am still the same weight I was approx 12 months ago. I only have 2st left to reach target and would love to do it by Christmas 2012.
Need to re-familiarise myself with SW. I've been told Food Optimising would be best for me, if anyone can shed some light on this for me pls as am not gonna join a club/online as I cant afford it right now but still wanna make the best of this.

From my own experience SW plan is the best one I have cpme across. I do it from home myself. Put the money for the group £5/week aside and treat myself to something when I have achieved my mini-goal - recently bought a Kindle with the money I had saved.
You get a lot of support on this forum and without it would not have been able to achieve my goals. I joined this forum on Boxing Day and so far have lost over 3 stone. I am taking it slowly as I feel that by losing the weight gradually, I can maintain it longer - must remember that this is not a race or a fad diet.
Another secret I have found is the more you eat (to the point you are satisfied) the more you lose. I used to eat very little but all the wrong foods (bread, cakes, fried food....), now I eat like a Queen and sometimes like a King (portion wise) of quality healthy food and losing weight. I have incorporated some exercise too. I avoid processed and artificial food as much as I can (Diet stuff, sweetners, soya, quorn). My body can not take any of these on a regular basis - of course from time to time I have them. I cook all my meals from scratch and use fresh fruits and vegetables. Please see my diary for examples of my meals. I mainly stick to Extra Easy as I eat normal meals (with fat and sugar eliminated), I dry fry everything.
Just familarise yourself with the basics and then you are on your way. Try different plans until you reach a point when your body will let you know which one it prefers.
