Welcome to our little group. We do have space for one more at the moment so you are in luck.

Good luck with your session tonight. Do report back how it went and let us know what plan you will be doing.

I usually post WI scores on Sunday and with you starting I think we may have a good chance of winning next week.

In our group we currently have Me, Vicki, Eli, Shantel and Kat.

When you pop back in tell us a little bit about yourself so we can get to know you a bit, be as detailed as you like.

I we ask is that you post regualrly and in return you can expect all the support and advice you might need from us all who have been through it all.

I fully understand your situation being in Love can make you contented and gain weight, but at least you are doing something about it now before it gets too out of hand like it did with me!!!!

I hope it goes O.K later on and welcome once again.

Hey all..

Don't worry Girls I am sticking to this diet...today I've just had some extra protein today in a cappucino:p to wean myself back in to ss tomorrow..seeing my cdc next friday so have 8 days to ditch alot of weight:eek:

Claudine Well done for being 100% chick you'll be well on track for goal.

Hope all the other girls are ok, and hayley 22 think there may be a space left, but ya welcome to join the team as it's nice to have more members as then the team never goes quiet.

Glugging the water. Still feel very odd like I have the flu coming. Hoping that I can shake it. Feels like flu. I Hope it's not.

I thought I would pop back on as I am having a little wobbly moment.

I never thought I would but it's the hunger. If I fall off the wagon I won't lose what I want by WI on Tuesday... So i must keep on.

I am desperate to get into the Ketosis Zone, beacause It gets easier.

I am thinking about bread and things...

But i am going to do it. ive com this far.

Right I feel better now. Off to make my daughter dinner

I've done things a different way round tonight had my bath and pampering before turning on the internet (i figure half my problem sleeping is because its so late by the time i actually settle down to sleep)
Claudine I hope you managed to stay strong while doing your daughters tea, I find that soooo hard dishing up all the childrens food here :) hope your feeling a bit better too

Dont know what has happened to me the last two days but I really havent done well with the water, normally I can boast a good 5lts or more but today I have only had 1.5lts and yeasterday I didnt pass 2lts till I had gone to bed, maybe its because Im no longer hungry so not 'needing' the water to fill me up? I have just had my second tetra of the day, didnt fancy Soup today, will either fit another tetra or a hot chocolate in before bed

I have to say, for me it was vice versa when I met my OH. After years of training, he started working as a personal trainer and forced me to the gym and I really got in to it and was in the best shape of m life. Then he suffered injury and had to leave the job,and as he was bedbound for long, we both ended up piling on the punds. More me though,as even to this day he has so much muscle they burn so much calories. Plus I eat more anyway,as I love sweet stuff..But no more!!! Next summer we should all be beach babes, right!?! :D

I had a crrrap day AGAIN!! I ate. And ate. And ate. I took my daughter to a playgroup,and stopped to have coffee on the way as was such a lovely weather,and ordered an egg and cheese toast for her,but they made a proper toastie that looked so delicious,I ended up having most of it. Then,as all was already lost,I thought what the h***. So I ate a box of Toffifee's (sooo yummy toffee-nougat-hazelnut sweets),and some rice and a panini. (Oh, I ate yesterday as well,I dont think I came on here last night.)
So, Vicki, I shall join you tomorrow for 100%!! Am actually quite looking forward to it,as feel so grossly full atm.
I'm sorry to hear about your cdc,Vicki. Is he saying you cannot change the packs at all,or just not today? How crap.. On a good note you got to burn some cals at the gym! I'd love to try boxing!

Claudine- I hope you are feeling better, and the flu won't get you! Well done for resisting temptations and being 100%. :D

Misspinkkat- Well done o being 100% as well! Your evening plan sounds lovely! :D

I will pop in tomorrow to seek motivation if am in the house! :)

Oh yeah, Vicki, forgot to say, the first week when I tried tetras I absolutely hate them! But as was getting bored of the sachets and cleaning the blender, I gave them another try last week,and now I have 10 choc tetras! It helps if I get them as cold as I possibly can. I store them in the fridge, and pop them in freezer just before having it. Maybe if you open the tetra and pour it over ice? Obv not always possible while out.

Hi Ladies, thank you very much for all your messages of support and accepting me into here :)

Tonight went very well, my cdc is very very nice, so polite, friendly, chatty etc etc.

I WI at 12stone 12 :( Quite a bit more than i thought!

Start tomorrow morning and hope to get to 10 stone . . . I havent given myself a time limit, i'll lose it as quickly as it goes. lol.

I'll be back to talk tomorrow and catch up and tell you more about myself, anything you ladies wanna know feel free to ask.
Boyfriend is home so going to watch Michael MacIntyre :)

Thanks for the msges everyone....and yep Eli think you are so right about the tetra's being cold as mine was just warm yesterday hence the feeling dodge lol..Do like em warm as hot choc tho:p.

Kat know what you mean about the bad sleeping habit ..I'm in bad one at moment so hardly sleep..but well done on having a good day.

Just popping in quickly. Absolutely shattered- had a long day @ university from 12-6pm!! It then took me an hour to get home and when I arrived home, I read until 1am! So much work, not enough time. Just popped in to see how you all are, as might not be around much this weekend, as I have an assignment to do, plus lots of other reading and a driving lesson. Busy, busy, busy! Still 100% and although I can't stand shakes just drink them. Can't wait to be in the 11s, not far now.

Welcome Hayley, I'm Shantel. I wish you all the best with your CD journey. You won't regret it, I sure have not.

Claudine, hope you're feeling better and hope you got past your wobbly moment. Think of your goals! You've done so well :)

Vicki, really sorry to hear about you and the tetras. I hate the shakes, but just see them like a magical potion to make me slim and gulp them down. Glad you've found a solution.

Kat (not sure if I should call you Kat or Kerena, let me know which one you'd prefer) glad you had a 100% day, you're evening sounds much more enjoyable than mine!

Eli, try not to worry. CD isn't easy but you can do it! Think of how much you'll be able to enjoy these things after. You can do it!

Straight onto SSP!

My first try of a sachet this morning, Vanilla! Im trying to just get on with it, smells so sickly! Reminds me of those white choc mice you can get from any good sweet shop. Too much for me this morning, one sip at a time..... Bit early for something sweet like this for me really. :9529:

My boyfriend took pics of me last night so i too can do the before and after pics. I'm hoping to lose at least half of my goal weight by xmas :) Thats the aim anyway...

Please accpet my apology as i cant remember names very well, i will learn eventually.

I'm feeling a bit like im getting a cold this morning too :( Not part of my plan! :sick:

Anyway.....Who is who? Who is on what stage and how you gettting on? (too many questions in one?!)

Vanilla is very sweet. I make this with as much water possible.

I'm Shantel, 18 and live in London. I have been on CD for nearly 16 weeks and have nearly lost 4 stone. Only have to lose 13 more pounds on SS before I go on to 810 to lose my last 12 pounds which will bring me down to 10.7. I really could not fault CD, it's made me feel much more confident :)

I think im going to have to not have the vanilla one! Its made me feel quite sick. Just hope the soup is better for my lunch later :)

How do you ladies go about doing your soups and shakes etc at work?
I have access to a canteen and have brought my hand blender with me to whisk it up. I just dont want everyone knowing im on CD.

I don't bring sachets to university. Instead I have a tetra (ready made shake) at around 12 and have a soup when I get home around 6/7 before having shake @ 9. As I'm in ketosis, I don't feel hungry. You could however purchase a shaker. It's a container with mesh to sieve out the lumps! With soup, I treat it like cup a soup, just add water and give it a good stir with a fork to get rid of lumps. Don't really like it blended as it can make it frothy xx
 
I start work at half 7 and it takes me 45 mins to get to work so im wide awake by the time i get to work and normally (before starting cd) id have cereal and a cup of tea.
So drinking a really sweet shake is not settling with me.... hopefully i'll get used to it.

Lunch at my work for me is about 1pm or whenever the bossess decide to get back to work lol.

Does it matter if i add more water to the shake? It was a bit thick for my liking with the 8 fl oz!

When did you start on the tetras? I think they'd be ideal for me at work.

You can definitely add more water to shakes. I find them too sweet with the specified amount so add until I find them palpable. Have you considered porridge?? That might make a nice substitute for breakfast and is quite filling. Apple and cinnamon is a bit sweet. I think you're allowed tetras from day 1 but have to drink extra water for each tetra as they're more concentrated. You can have bars from week 3 onwards ( I think) as they're slightly higher in carbs. If you stick with peanut and cranberry they have less carbs. Some people find bars stall their weight loss, but I have them twice a week and have not noticed a change to my weight loss xxx
 
For the first week my counsellor wanted me on just powder shakes and soups and see what i WI on Thursday.

She is away for just over a week after my first WI so i've got to get 2 weeks worth of "food", so maybe i can tetras then and porridge and possibly a bar or two :)
We'll see.
I'm so glad i found this place, not sure how i'd have managed while she was away otherwise.

That sounds like a great idea :) I know how sickly the shakes can be so if you struggle, just treat it as a magical potion to make you slim :) Any time you need advice, don't hesitate.

How are you all this morning? I feel death. I am deffo ill with flu or something. My body aches. Ahhh man this sucks!! Dosing myself up so I can cope.

I can't take to bed because I have to look after my daughter so I can't let it beat me.

Vicki - Good luck with re-start today babes. I know you can do it! Just think of our little challenge and that sexy outfit you will wear at Christmas. Let us know how you are geting on with it babes, we are here for you!

Shants - Glad you are still 100% your a little star. Glad that uni is doing well too and that you are getting stuck in. Remember to take breaks. I never asked you what Law are you going to specialise in?

Eli - I hope the 100% goes well today. I know what it's like ince you start to eat, you think....may as well carry on. I am the same. It can be difficult to get back on it when you do that sometimes though............. but you can do it!

Hayley - I'm Claudine. I'm a social worker living in Bristol and I have a 2 year old daughter. I have so far lost 5 stone on CD SS and I have been doing it for about 19 weeks! I'm, hoping to lose 2 more! I'm also the team leader for Skinny Beatchs!
Use the site if it gets hard, it worked for me. It's so great reading everyones success stories and everyone is really supportive. It keeps you going. Let us know how you are getting on throughout the day and if you have any questions we will be happy to answer them for you. It took me a while to get used to the taste of some of the sachets/shakes. Now I have my favourites and these have changes since i started. it's trial and error in the early days.


Kerena - Hey babes, hope you are doing well. I know what you mean about the water, some days it's really hard and easy on others. You can only drink what you feel able too in my opinion. I'm sure you crack on with it again today. The weekend is almost here..............I hope today is not too busy for you.

Well I am still 100% and fully intend on staying that way. The cold I will just have to cope with and fight it.
