Slim & Save Diary - Newbie

I went out last night - I went to Nandos with my friends, I had a chicken salad and water!! I was stressing about it afterwards but then I had to realise that if going off plan and being naughty is in the form of a chicken salad then i've not done too bad!

Today I had a berry shake for breakfast and a truffa bar for lunch. I am not sure what I am having later yet.

Ali - I feel really focused about sticking to the plan over the weekend whilst on the hen do :) and after going out last night and having water whilst the others were drinking, I did enjoy being sober and not hung over this morning. It also meant that I could drive home and not have to mess aaround with taxis :)
 
Thanks JessicaRabbit :) got my outfit sorted and bag packed (including my S&S packs) and ready to go in the morning! Most of the girls went for 2 nights so are there now but I decided to go just for tmrw night... Suppose it makes it easier sticking to it as well.

Today has been sooo hard in comparison to recent days I had a caramel shake for breakfast (yum) a lemon bar for lunch and chicken, lettuce and cucumber for tea. Didn't eat until late though (at mums) and hard bar early so I have eaten half a slice of ham at tea time! Hopefully it wasn't too bad thought it was better than the Easter egg in my bedroom and as a result I didn't have my final shake of the day... Had a peppermint tea and glass of water instead!

I have been craving allsorts today :( and even fancied a maccy ds when I drove past it but I resisted and it feels good knowing I got through another day :)
 
Well I had a brilliant time on the hen do - and didn't drink but I'm really fed up!

Yesterday was still not a good day food wise although I made the best choices I could!

I forgot my shaker to do my shakes so missed having anything until lunch time then I had a choc truffa bar! Mid afternoon I had a skinny latte, ok I am sure then small would have still had more than my daily milk allowance but it was the best choice to make other than another bottle of water (which I knew I would be on when out). Then we went out and I was drinking water but then started drinking lime and soda as I was struggling to face it. Tea time they ordered some platters with deep fried everything on so I had 2 chicken wings and 3 nacho crisps. Then at home time everyone had kebab - I went into 4 kebab shops looking for chicken skewer type kebab but could not find any so had some chicken kebab meat but no chips and left the pitta bread!

I got home this morning but went straight out to the dr's (drop in centre) as I didn't sleep as had ear ache! I have laryngitis and an ear infection and am now on anti biotics! I have just been weighed and I have put 1.5lbs on and it has really de-motivated me. I know I was off plan but I tried to make the best choices and to put that on I just feel like... Well I should have just drunk and ate kebab and chips because I put on anyway :-(

Maybe it's because I'm unwell and craving food! I'm not even craving naughty food I could just eat a nice steak with salad and jacket potato followed by a fresh fruit salad!

I dunno its just so hard and the gain has demotivated me :'(
 
Ok so after feeling down in the dumps yesterday I decided that I had to just remain focused and keep on the right track!

Today, I had a chocolate cereale shake for breakfast, choc truffa bar for lunch.

Tonight i am planning on salmon and some veggies and a hazelnut shake tonight.

My aim is to get my stone this weigh in and i wont achieve that by going off track!

It's week 2 weigh in this morning and I've lost 3 lbs this week! Slightly annoying that I'm half a lb off losing a stone but still its a loss and it's in the right direction so I'm happy with that :)
 
Week 3 - Day 1
Well I did try and squeeze a wee out but it wasnt happening so i will just have to wait until next wednesday to report my 1stone achievement! Today I had a truffa bar for breakfast, some spicy spag bol for lunch and I am currently just cooking my tea. I wanted the mac and cheese but i couldnt face it so i have a piece of salmon cooking in the oven as we speak. I also have a lindt chocolate egg which has been in my handbag since the day i started S&S but today it is just calling me - I havent given in and eaten it... dont know how i am resisting!
