Hi all

Well have started diary few days late as haven't had time to get on her till now but am now on day 3.
I have so far had porridge - love it, banana shake hot - love it, tomato soup - leaves a slight powdery after taste (but ok), carbonara - ok but is very salty tasting, raisin and toffee bar - very filling so ate in 2 halfs.

So far so good and have kept up with my water intake and stayed 100%.

Tongue was furry after day one so am hoping to be in ketosis so roll on tuesdays weigh in! xx

Hello and good luck on your journey - I haven't tried the porridge yet - everyone seems to like it! Might have to add it to my next order! It's the tomato and basil that I hate! :)

Hi Simi

Yes the soup does leave a slight powdery after taste,am missing my shakes so think I need to order some of them next.

I should have explained I have a few years ago lost 5st on cambridge and maintained for 6 months before falling ill with pancreatitis. After a long road to recover I hate to say the weight has crept back on.

I went back upto 16st12lbs and have managed to lose a bit but have stayed around my weight of 15st10 since last sept.

Am now trying to get my life back on track and gain some control, so here I am.

So day 4 and have had porridge (which i love), orange bar for lunch and pasta for tea.

I have struggled a little today as have had a child/work free day and didn't have my usual distractions, on the plus side I've read a whole book on my kindle and completed all housework and ironing!

Good luck on your journey

Welcome on board hun
Good luck for your WI day.
Stay strong you can do it.

Good luck with your journey, I'm on day 6 myself so understand exactly how you feel

Thanks for the support all.
Am having an easier day today considering ive been dragged around town by my girls including taking them for lunch!
canna wait till wi day. Goodluck to you all xxxx

Day 6 is pretty much in the bag. Been quite bored today but has also been a nice chilled day considering its usually manic here.
Started with the trusty porridge and had an orange bar for lunch. I like to have the bars in 2 halves though as are quite filling.
Pasta for dinner although still not keen but as I bought the winter warmer pack its all I have.

Not long till wi day on tue now!! Xx

Fingers crossed for a good loss

Ok so today is wi day and I have lost 8lbs and 4inches. 2 on tummy and 2 on thigh.
Bit gutted as had sneaky wi on fri and was on 7lbs then and have stayed 100%!
I did however from sat start taking those physillium husk tablets (2 3 times a day) and am wondering if that was too much?? Any ideas peeps??
Thanks for the support shrimp xx

Well, I can't really comment on quantities for the physillium husk, having said that I'd first of all go with whatever instructions are on the bottle. And also you want to get yourself into a good ... um... digestive routine ;) So if you feel that you've benefited then that's what you want. And you'll probably be able to adjust dosages depending on how you feel.
And a 8lb weight loss is amazing!! Don't forget that body weight isn't just a mathematical formula i.e. if you've lost 7lb by Friday, then you should have lost the same amount again proportionally by today. Just look at it as a really good week because that's what it is :)
And 4 inches off? Congrats!! Keep it up.

Suppose I should say welcome too, ha ha. Although looks like you've been around on here a lot longer than me!!!!

Good weightloss soldier, keep it up :D xx

Thanks Beebeesee for the advice. I had been taking as advised on the bottle but decided from today not to take them this week as see what happens.
Might have to take some ducolax instead!

Plymscuba keep up the good work, yr looking fab xx

Hiya Natalie!!

Welcome and well done on your first loss that's brilliant!!

Thanks Chelly
you are doing fab just hope I can see this through to the end!

Have been here before with Cambridge so I know its the maintaining that's the hardest and i've still got a long way to go.

But the important thing is that I have started xx

You can do it and def see it through to the end! At least you and your sister are doing it together so use can go and slap each other if use slip up lol!

Maintaining really is the hard bit!
I've been looking up stuff and I think the major part of maintaining will be preparing and planning in advance what we will eat etc it's hard but I am determined to maintain this time!!!

I know what you mean Chelly and yes is good to have the support of my sister (she is rather special to me) but don't tell her that lol
Luckily I have the support of hubby and eldest daughter too.

Had really hard day yesterday, took kids macci d's as we were in town for the parade and I had my bar and water then at tea time hubby bought ****** chips and I sulked upstairs but they smelt sooo good.

Am better today I think but don't feel I've lost much this week, we will see on tues weigh in.

Chelly you lost a huge amount in your 1st week and have continued strong so well done you xx

Forgot to update weight loss for week 2 and was 3lbs and 2 inches so 11lbs in total so far.

I WILL be in the 14's next week lol x

Hey Nat, that's a really good loss overall, don't you think? I am planning on starting a June challenge to stay 100% and exercise everyday, just got into the 14s but the weekend ahead might do some damage  but albeit ambitious, I'm hoping with a mega focused June, to break into the 13s. If you fancy joining ... :)
