Smelly Elle's fantastic diary: Weight Loss? What Weight Loss?

go and read my thread you naughty girl. Actually it's OK, or not too bad anyway, I'm not getting the urge for a ciggie more than every 30 seconds. :(

Ooh, is it around Tgi's then Jim? I know that I know it I just can't place it exactly.

Nicky, thanks hun. Last night I had a full on barney with my mum because i'd complained that my nan had refused to leave at the time that I would normally leave for work : 8:45, which is a decent time I think. I was already having the morning off anyway, and even though my boss is very lenient i still had to get some work done. But my mum was saying I was being selfish la de da, what with everything my nan's done for me in the past... and I was gutted so i ended up in my car at like, half twelve in the morning wondering around because I just had to get out the house. Honestly, sometimes my mum just doesn't engage her brain before she says things, she can be really hurtful sometimes. Anyway, i think i'll stop moaning about my poor mum on here because i feel bad. She's lovely really.

Yay almost the end of the day x

It's on the junction of Jockey road and the Birmingham Road, elle. I live on Jockey road, so it's easy (too easy) for me..

OHHHHHHHHHHH yes, I know. Ooh, blimey Jim, I know where you LI-IIIVE ;) I come from Lichfield road, four oaks way...you know (and if you don't) Walsall - Aldridge - Streetly - Sutton. So I won't pass you, if i've got my bearings right, because I get to tgi's before i'd pass the horse and jockey. But at that round about with the Gracechurch shopping centre, I presume that coming just past tgi's on the one way system, i'd turn left and that's the birmingham road, right? and jockey road is just off that? I have a friend, George, who lives up that way so i've been down your road haha. Not that i'll start stalking you or anything :S Did my driving test in boldmere...could they have built any more roundabouts in that area??!! Jeez!

x

That's it elle, no you won't coming from that direction, but just think I'll only be 1/2 a mile away :)

Elle - I hope your lovely mum appreciates what a lovely thoughtful daughter she has - your gran and grandad too.

My youngest daughter was lovely with my mum and dad and filled in several times with hospital appointments etc when her work schedule was more forgiving than mine - I appreciate still x

The sun rose up way to the west
Out of my bed came I
I reached straight for water bottle
With a heart-felt sigh

When Elle is up for challenge
Gem's up for it too
Although I feel I've drank too much
I fear it is too few

Water, water everywhere
And I'm feeling like a sink
Cross legged outside the womens loo
I have another drink

The day is coming to an end
And bed not yet for me
For I've just drank more water
Soon I'll need another pee!!!

Can't get beyond the 1.5 again Elle. I bet both you and Jools beat me.

Good luck for your weigh in x

Heeheeheeeee excellent poem! I have indeed reached the 2l target gem, but not to worry - i'll stick with you until you manage it! So, tomorrow it will be miss gem ;)

Bet your youngest daughter really appreciates that :D

It might not be 2L yet but 1.5 is pretty respectable I reckon. Did you see Jim tonight? x

no i didn't, p'raps he got wasted and surfed around sutton on the tsunami that I mentioned in tyn's thread....

excellent night tonight, even if I didn't see Jim OR i didn't quite, completely, exactly lay off the starters... *ahem*

here's a photo of me and my lovely friend Stal, we were a bit hyper (it always happens to me when i've been on the diet cokes...)

x

No I got involved in some rounds of backgammon, loosing badly though :( which is annoying 'cos generally I win.

I was going to walk down and say hello, but the time just vanished somehow.

good morning good morning. were you good at tgis then m'dear?

and if we are doing flapjack at 10 paces can i be forewarned being the non-eater and all? ha. i'll need to move up a plan or two for that i reckon :D

well done on getting back down to the 2st mark. it's the water that's helping you know :p well. that and the bran flakes :D

we'll have to arrange a visit. can't wait :D

was going to suggest it for my birthday until i realised that 1, that's in a week and 2, i can't put anybody up as i have a house full of danish people and we're doing suit fittings. so. we'll have to do it at some point in feb/march?

abz xx

A house full of Danish people abz?

Abz - You can FREEZE the flapjacks and they are quite a healthy recipe so you don't have to miss out completely - the ones with chocolate on the top are the best x

Wow, you can freeze flapjacks?! You learn something new n all that jazz...

:O Jim, you do NOT play backgammon! It's like the national "sport" of Cyprus:p I started playing from a very young age. We all sit at the beach in the summer with the backgammon boards out. I'm not too bad, my dad and godbrother are the ultimate. I have rarely beaten them. We call it tavli..

Don't worry about not coming to see me, I was only messing. It's funny how we live so close and how i've been down you road though hahaha.

Abz i'm looking forward to coming, I love leeds. It's ashame you're all booked up around your bday time. I certainly was at TGI's, had wicked chicken. It comes with rice, corn on the cob and cajun cheesy sauce. It was incredible. But certainly didn't manage it all. Perhaps just under half i'd say. However I had a chicken wing, a mozarella stick, a couple of sticks of celery (woo) and a few onion scoops for starters so it's not like i rigidly stuck to any sort of dieting hahaha. We had lots of fun though, diet coke always gets me hyper. People probably thought we were a bunch of teens, not women in our twenties and thirties...

Scales this morning said the same, 12st 9lbs, looks like i've lost another quarter off yesterday though :) So that's 2 squatters officially ridden of, another one to go and then we can start losing the keepers. :D
