It was! i am out of heck burgers now which i'm sad about so hoping they come back soon as they are limited edition and the tescos up here never stock the chicken sausages!

looks nice hun x x

hope the head feels better x you sound like you have had a busy weekend :) x

yeah just a bruise now but the headaches etc have gone. i do feel like the weekend flew over but then it does even if I don't do anything.

Gosh is it really expensive to do it? I know our consultant is always looking for people to help leaflet (although she offers incentives to do it).

And what was the ostrich burger like???

It is not bad actually (I knew I didn't have the money before i went as uni is expensive) it's £1500 for the franchise and they reckon once you add on travel and hotel and insurance and data protection it comes to £1700~ (my consultant reckons a little more for the hotel.) You do get a laptop, the expensive scales the tablet, the training your first lot of leaflets some stock and banner a frame so I don't think that is bad. it is really more the percentages on what you get back for group and how much you actually make that give me pause I think (I don't want to post these as they asked us to keep it confidential though they are probably already on here somewhere but pm me if interested)

I liked the ostrich burger but it had a very gamy taste which I imagine could be offputting if you don't like game.

Mmmm that IS interesting - my consultant runs four classes, but I don't imagine she makes much from it when you count in the hall hire and so on.

But it definitely an option if you want part time work, I guess.

And thanks for the verdict on the burger - I really don't like gamey stuff so will give it a miss - but do try the SW sossies and see what you think!

Sx

yeah the burgers have not been popular at my class - but I was keen. I am going to pop to iceland tonight actually (and tescos) in an attempt to get ww wraps that are now a HEB and some meals while my vouchers are valid. (Though I have been told that a month after the vouchers expire the meals will be 2 for £5 anyway)

I don't have high hopes though as they never seem to have stock of sausages or meatballs here. That was something interesting they said at the consultancy event actually. Iceland apparently made 1,200,000 meals which slimming world told them was not enough for intital demand and iceland were all - well we'll see as they didn't want to lose money on it and then were suprised by the actual demand, she also confirmed that they are working on sauces and will also be working on free soups someone asked if they will do puddings etc but she said they will never do desserts as there are lots of low syn desserts out there and these are only meant to fill a gap to help members every now and again not for every day or to replace cooking from scratch.

Yes i thought it was hilarious how Iceland completely underestimated demand for the meals :). That'll learn 'em!

I have sausages! They had both meatballs and sausages in tonight. Very few of the meals though (just tikka masalla and the salmon meal) I got some tikka for the freezer but didn't bother with the salmon meal - I actually really liked it but I could make it myself in the time it takes to microwave for less than £3/£2.50.

Of course I have eaten my chilli I already made for tea but now I want sausages. I might cook some tonight so I can have them at work tomorrow for a syn free breakfast and maybe have a sneaky try of one.

Can't wait to hear sausage feedback! Going to try & get some later in week ;)

I ended up not having a sausage yesterday as i vaguely remember you aren't allowed processed meats on SP (didn't stop me having burgers the other day though whups) AND because (and this is a big thing really) I wasn't actually hungry. V pleased with that.

I don't find it any different from regular porridge tbh except that you are allowed the flavoured sachets! I only bought it cos it was on offer. I do like LM Red onion sausages but tend to use them as a free stuffing on a chicken dinner rather than have them as sausages - sometimes on greendays.

I don't think I've tried bratwurst but my OH likes it so if I don't like these he will have scored haha. I agree - I have them quite a lot as a meal as they are tasty but they aren't really sausage like.

I seem to remember someone at club saying the Linda McCartney ones are free?

The Linda Mccartner red onion and rosemary are free. The normal ones are 2 syns each.

I lost 4.5 tonight and was slimmer of the week :) V pleased.

Thanks! We have a decent fruit basket generally. Someone actually took a picture of tonight's so I have nicked it off facebook to show you. Also attached a pic of tea :) big thumbs up to the sausages.

Did the Lesley Sansome walk last night which upped my steps a bit. Definitely a bit more exercise than my usual meandering about the place so going to try and do it daily - will have to fit in on thursday morning as I will never have the energy before dancefit but if I miss it on dancefit day I don't think that's too bad.
