Hello from Orkney. Cold, wet and windy today so I'm snuggled up on a sofa with my book

Trying to be quite good on the food front - having breakfast and an evening meal and avoiding snacks in between

.....though did have a naughty slice of pizza during the movie last night

Jack Ryan, shadow recruit was a really exciting espionage thriller. Edge of the seat stuff!

Day at sea yesterday, so I just mooched about then had a lovely afternoon nap

Invergordon tomorrow, plan is for a wander into town if the weather is reasonable

Back out at sea, and actually quite a pleasant evening after the wet day!

Watched another movie this afternoon - Last Vegas - very funny film, I can recommend it!

Just had a very nice dinner - beef - with a naughty slice of fruit flan after

Going to get a coffee now and listen to the piano player in one of the lounges

Your cruise is sounding so lovely and I'm impressed on how restrained you're being on the food front. Would like to think I'd be the same but I know I'm kidding myself.

Hello from Ruby Princess at sea, bound for Le Havre tomorrow morning.

Unfortunately caught the cold that a lot of people have - so not feeling at my best today

...plan for an early night and hopefully feeling better tomorrow

Back to Southampton on Friday morning, and should be home by lunchtime

Just finished packing, so going to relax with a book for a bit.

Coughing like mad and feel horrible to be honest, so not sad to be going home.

I've had a great time, shame the last few days were a bit miserable

Hey Darcy, it's so nice that you have kept in touch during your cruise and that you've done so well foodwise. It's a shame you caught that wretched cold now but at least the majority of your holiday was cold-free Have a safe return home
