Just back from a lovely holiday in Singapore

Fell off the wagon big time......but here I am, ready to try yet again!

I’ve been up since 04:30.....couldn’t sleep!

Going well with TS, and the scales are cooperating

Slept until 07:00, which is much better

Cold, wet and windy so no plans to go out today.

Well, my Christmas diet break got a bit extended....oh dear

I’m off on my travels next week, a cruise around South America 🛳

I’ll try to eat sensibly, but I know realistically that dieting on holiday isn’t going to happen

When I get back it’s head down and back on TS

Cape Horn, volcanoes and glaciers in Chile and lots of penguins in the Falklands

It was an amazing trip 🛳

It was midsummer in the Southern Hemisphere but we had weather from 5 to 36 degrees! At one point we had 75 knot winds and 4 metre waves.......that wasn’t pleasant!

Amazingly the morning we rounded Cape Horn was very calm and sunny......though it was really cold. Getting into the Falklands is always 50/50 with the weather, so I was delighted that we made it. What an interesting place......but I could never live there, too isolated for me. I’ve never walked among penguins before, so that was the highlight of the whole trip for me
