I bet hunny sometimes with stressful things like caring for your dad you only really feel the force of it when the stress is released slightly ie the break you're getting x you're doing fab darling x keep your chin up you have so many things to be proud of x

Thank you Carly

I think you're spot on - when there's a lot going on you just get on with it somehow.

Had a long chat with my boss today. She could see I was getting stressed, and has promised to take some of the pressure off me at work.

I feel better this evening I must say :)

The builder has obviously worked hard today - lounge wallpaper all stripped, carpet removed and undercoating done. Worthwhile me staying up to nearly 2am moving everything out of the way for him

He is a star really, and it is progressing.............but I so want it finished now!

How you feeling today midget buddy? :)

I'm ok thanks Carly

Sitting here on a corner of the sofa in the bare lounge - but all the painting done in here and wallpapering will be started tomorrow.

I'm going away for the weekend to stay with a friend in Yorkshire - hope the weather stays good! :)

Then back to Exante on Monday, and hopefully the downward slope to the house being finished!

Sounds like its really starting to get finished Darcy, if you know what I mean lol
You'll have to get some pics up I'd love to see the finished product of all this hard work :)

Working in Salisbury today - got the train.

Lovely sunny day, but will be glad to finish work and get on my way to Yorkshire. Looking forward to seeing my friend :)

Hae a brilliant weekend xx:cool:

Back home after my weekend away.

Enjoyed catching up with my friend. Just spent the time sitting in the garden, chatting.

Feel much more relaxed this evening :)

Morning everyone

Back on the wagon today!

Very, very scary - but put on 14 pounds this past week :(

Needed the break though.

Awwwww Darcy I'm sorry you've had a tough time and I'm glad you have been able to re-charge your batteries.
Like Carly said you don't know how much pressure you're under until it's taken away for a while.

Most of the 14lb will be water, so you won't have to worry about it coming off it won't take too long.
Good luck with your re-start and the next leg of the journey. ((((HUGS))))

Thanks very much Ali :)

Still want my house finished ASAP, but feeling a lot less stressed.

Good afternoon Darcy, well done for getting back on the wagon. Maybe coming off will have given your metabolism a big kick and your weight losses will be greater? fingers crossed. :hug99: xx

It will come of in quick time if you get back on the wagon. I put on that plus in the two weeks I was abroad but shifted it all in just ten days.

You had a nice time which at the end of the day it's all about! X
