SpaceAngel lost 3lbs this week!

I didn't have Chinese in the end, I made a curry which was lovely so that was ok.

I was upset cos a few people were being *****es on another forum. One thing I can't stand is one rule for one and one rule for another. I made a mistake in posting something I shouldn't but the venomous reaction was unbelievable. Yet in another thread, they were actually wishing this women would drop dead (all I did was post a pic).

hmmm, double standards ey x

Yea just a bit. Seriously though, you should see that state of the woman that had a go! She is a fruit cake if ever there was one!

My avatar is a genuine true likeness of me! U will find me dancing like that on a Saturday night, so you will :D

Very easy huni.

Stewing Steak
1 onion
2 tbsp tom puree
2 tbsp Pataks Madras curry paste
Water or stock made from bovril.

Fry the onion in frylight (I used frozen ready chopped onion) until cooked. Then add the tom puree and the paste. Cook for about 2 mins, then stir in the beef. Once the beef is coated add enough water to cover. Put a lid on the saucepan and simmer for about 2 hrs. Add extra water if necessary whilst the beef is cooking if needed.

Sounds simple but its lovely. About 2 syns per serving. The curry paste is a much easier way of getting authentic Indian food without all the prep!

aaw.. brill..!! im deffo give that a try.. i love curry.. lol.. but its normally soooooo naughty.. lol..

This one really is lovely. I make loads of curries. I do a mince one too which is a keema curry which is really nice. I make it in exactly the same way as the other one, but with less water and you add some frozen peas. I used to make it all from scratch, using my own spices etc, but find the curry paste is actually even better.

My dd was invited to take part in the Bedford Festival of Speech, Music and Drama and she had to recite a poem. She is only 7 and had to recite it from memory infront of loads of people and an adjudicator. She came 4th and I am soooo proud of her.

wow, well done her x

Yea I am really really proud of her. She was sooo nervous. Her classmate came 2nd but she is nearly a whole yr older than Lucy. Unfortunately she is a summer baby, so only turned 7 on 2nd August and a lot of those children were 8 so she did do really well. She read the Death of a Snowman by Vernon Scannell and the adjudicator said that she captured the sadness of the snowman really well.

aaaw.. im going to have to googl that and have a read.. =)..

btw.. you're flashy thing at th bottom.. the "i just ate my willpower" made me laugh so much.. lol

I am gonna make one which says "And now I have indigestion!"

Have you tried Ranitadine. Dr's prescribed it to me when I was pg. Works 10 times better than gaviscon cos its stops the acid being produced in the 1st place. I have to take omeprazole cos I have it really really bad but thats also ok to take during pg, but I would get ranitadine (zantac) from the Dr's first, just to make sure he is happy with you taking it.
