I am about to embark on mincepie making. DD has got a school Xmas party tomorrow and she has to bring in some party food. I bought too much pastry (yea - I cheated) and already have the mincement. So I going to try and not pull my hair out whilst my kitchen gets covered in dollops of mincemeat finished off with a sprinkling of flour!

All the classes in my daughter school recorded a Christmas Carole and they were put onto a CD for us to buy. I am a soppy thing at Xmas anyway, so I bought one.

I managed not to cry during my daughter nativity and was really proud. Then today I decided to have a listen to the CD. It was really lovely with all the children singing.

And then I got to Away in a Manger. That song is heartbreaking enough (dunno why) but it was recorded by the little reception children and as soon as I heard their little voices I was in tears! It was so cute. My daughter was mortified cos I was crying in front of her friend. But it was lovely and part of what I love about Christmas.

I ordered the kids a wii for Xmas from my catalogue. When I ordered it, they promised delivery by the 23rd December.

So far they have told me 3 times that it has been dispatched. Called them again today as I still havn't received it, but they said that the supplier is not expecting a delivery of them until 23rd December and that means I won't be getting it until after Christmas.

They had no manager on duty, so the advisor had to get a manager from the sales department to speak to me. I have said that I want them to get the supplier sent the wii out to me via courier on 23rd so that I get it the same day or on 24th. He has said that he will get the manager of the department to call me on Monday morning. I just dont trust them that the supplier is even having a delivery on 23rd.

I am so gutted. I don't have the cash to hand to go to a shop to buy it, thats why I wanted to use my catalogue. I dont know what to do now - not going to know anything until Monday.
 
It's thebrilliantgiftcompany.co.uk. Brilliant my backside. I really hope that they courier it out to me. If not, I will wrap up the games that I have got and say that it will be coming after Xmas. It's not like the wii is their only pressie, but its damn annoying. I ordered it 2 weeks ago!

It was just a thought that the courier may have been white arrow who I used to work for and then maybe you could ring the person that does the delivery but I don't know that catalogue company.
