Spinoza Speaks

I was about to suggest you have more for brekkie, one egg doesn't seem like much - but then of course you will be on smaller meals after the vlcd (how did you manage it? I'm so rubbish I can't last a day on them!) :)

Of course - jaw exercises - forgot about those CL!!! What with them and the extended propping regime, I'll probably lose pounds then. ;)

Today's food. One week in and it's already starting to look a bit samey. ;)

B - one fried egg
L - chicken caesar salad
S - slice of ham
D - fried tilapia (I get it cheap on the way home from work) in a mushroom and cream sauce
S - goat's cheese - can only hope I don't finish the whole lump before the night is out

No exercise, although I really should have snuck some in as I'm away now till Sunday. Won't be about for a couple of days and will by way way off plan some of the time, but ready for a restart Sunday onwards.

Have a fab, fab time sweetie and a few glass of red for me:D or i tell you what - i'm at my parents for dinner tomorrow night so will try to match you instead:p
Xxx

God I so love that challenge Katie - we'll compare tallies after the weekend. :)

Alpy hi!!!! Come back properly and tell me how you've been petal! And are you still doing the half marathons? xxx

Plus what are you doing 26th November and should I be there? You've gone all mysterious! x

Haha - i so dont think this appro topic for a diet board lol:) but since you started it, i'm also at a party sat night so that should help the total....:D

Oh dear oh dear oh dear, are we doing this?? ;) All I can say in my defence is that I never actually made it to Marty's sloe gin. I was too drunk. And anyway Susie got there first. :D

And don't forget those huge eggs Marty and Steve brought us all the way from Scotland lol. I'll never forget that weekend. Well most of it lol. Still got my pink fluffy dog I bought at crufts in my lounge and wear the scarf I bought loads xx

It was indeed a fabulous weekend - despite the damson gin....oye vay!!! :)

Have a wonderful weekend, love, and kisses to the OH and kids xxx

Oh yes - I'd forgotten the eggs. They were amazing:)

Waiting for your weekend report :)

Weekend was good Katie. I'll come back for a full report in an hour or so - children clamouring for dinner and I haven't even peeled potatoes yet - oops!

I've been out all day so lots of walking but ended up in a pub for a roast. Delicious and gave Trev one of my roasties in exchange for his courgettes but excessive alcohol despite me saying I wasn't going to today! Maybe I won't weigh tomorrow after all!!

I always weigh Lisa! I'd say all the walking will have used up at least a couple of roasties worth of carbs, and at least you'll know where you are. Sounds like a lovely day out - it was gorgeous here today. :D

Right, weekend went better than I expected diet-wise. Lunch on Friday was half a roast chicken in a little pub, and dinner was basically a porkfest - yummy amuse bouche of fried whitebait, pork starter, and pork main, with a few little sides which weren't legal but were so tiny they didn't do any damage at all. Things weren't all good though as I had an entire bottle of wine in various guises (they matched them to each course and we started off with a glass of champagne) but avoided port with the cheeseboard by the skin of my teeth. Have to say, I was three sheets to the wind and we didn't get home till 1am, so a good time was had by all. Yesterday I had bacon and eggs, a lot of nuts while travelling, and then M&S sossies for tea with a little cheese coleslaw.

Today

B - bacon and egg
L - half a mim with pate
D - roast chicken leg, cauli, buttered cabbage, about two teaspoons of gravy
S - a little coleslaw, will probably have some nuts and some goat's cheese later.

Almost faltered at dinner there - really wanted a glass of wine but luckily didn't.

Now, I need an opinion from the wise ones. Found lowish carb (6.6%) peanuts in Tesco called Salty Dog, plus yesterday bought M&S peanuts which claim to be only 4.4% carbs, yet some peanuts give carb content at 10% or more with just nuts and salt as ingredients - how is this possible?

Sounds like a fabulous weekend and pretty good carb wise too!

Step away from those peanuts missy - you don't need them & if you are justifying labels then better to give it a miss! Here speaks the peanut trigger monster so feel free to ignore me ;)

Xx
