Hi all
Have started today and am very excited to see results. Have been reading throughout the forum and heard lots of good info. For once in my life i'm at a place where i can stick with it and lose the weight. I have 4 stone to lose.

my best tip is to log on here on the bad days, support is everything, i wouldnt be here 9 weeks later if it wasnt for this place. (ive packed my bags and moved here i think hehe) it really is a MASSIVE help.

another tip - dont do too much in first couple of weeks, it knocks the stuffing out of you in week 1 to 2 so go easy.

Thank you all for welcoming me. Very pleased so far doesn't taste so bad. Just had my last shake and used hot water to make hot chocolate. So far so good.

So far finding it ok although have had a headache every day. Day 3 and i have stuck to the plan, and although i have been cooking every day for my son i havn't found it to hard. Although i am not able to taste food to see if its favoured correct or even cooked my son is still eating it so must be fine lol. Looking forward to week 2 though so i can have flapjacks.
 
Weigh in today have lost 7lbs very happy with that

Thanks feels great i had a little blip yesterday so was quite surprised but very happy and will be on plan 100% from now on.
 

It's been quite good - just challenging today and tmw because of 2 day work course. You definitely need the right mindset and I am lucky to have found this forum for support (am so not tech savvy). Have got a 'mandatory' work dinner at 8pm - I am not going to eat.

So true you do need to have the right mindset and need to have determination to reach your goals, i'm sure you'll be fine at your work dinner.
 
I found it gets easier the longer you are doing it. I have a buzz about my diet and weight now that I didn't at the start when my goal seemed such a long way off. I think you need just that little more willpower at the start because after a few weeks it becomes a habit and the weight loss seems to show up more giving rise to lots of smiles and mental wellbeing.

Stay positive, stay determined and really, really try to avoid those little 'blips'. It will be so worth it in the end.
