have you tried sparkling water instead of plain water - the bubbles help to sooth the throat and somehow sparking water seems so much more of a treat - I can get through LITRES of the stuff and I have some tea and coffee during the day which not including my shakes must equate to approx 4 litres a day - my soda stream was in the back of he cupboard = it is now one of my favourite kitchen gadgets
