Starting some exercise

Been feeling quite tired for the last 10 days or so but today feel full of energy. Hopefully my body has adjusted to the low calorie intake. Decided as the weight is now shifting probably a good idea to do some Zumba. Not necessarily to speed up the weight loss but think I should do something to tone up the muscles. Just wondering does the exercising make you feel more peckish though?

I personally find it does the opposite and makes me not hungry, It could be to do with the endorphins released during exercise or simply because it makes me more motivated!
I do yoga an two gun sessions a week and it really helps!

Good luck

Hi :) I find I'm less hungry when I exercise and it makes me feel great. This year my fitness has really really improved. I've noticed the toning effect it's having on my body too. Still got a long way to go. I weigh 15.5 but I honestly don't think I look it! I have noticed that adding strength training can slow my weight loss but I still loose inches. I'd rather have lean muscle than fat. Zumba is fantastic. I'm actually getting a waist xxx

Thanks for the advice. Just managed to do an hour session of Zumba, quite pleased as it been almost a year since I last did it. Could really feel it working my thighs so probably be aching tomorrow lol. Think I'll try to do it a couple of times a week and see how I feel.
Obviously pays off for the two of you. Good luck this week x

I don't think it effects my appetite - but it makes me feel good (never thought I'd say that about exercise, but its true!). I've never donr zumba it it sounds like a good laugh, I'm gonna look up classes near me x

It is fun. Time flies by too. Good thing is you can do it at your on pace to a certain extent depending on how vigorously you want to do the moves.

Susie, did you feel hungry or weak afterwards? I'm worried that if I hit the gym I will hit the fridge afterwards!!

Nixib, no I didn't feel hungry at all, but then I was getting a bit hot & needed to drink quite a lot of water so that probably helped. During the session I didn't feel tired at all but a couple of hours later I did so had some porridge & I'm feeling really good now. Cant say that I have been tempted to eat any more than what's allowed so I reckon you should be ok. I just didn't push myself as much as I normally would have done.
