Total Solution Steeleee goes back to square one.........

Day 2 (yesterday) -> Done :) Feeling rough today though cos I haven't had enough water :( But why is it when you get dehydrated the last thing you want is anything to drink? Its just wierd that you would need water but not want it. I need to go drink something but feel sick every time I try.... urghhhh damn u dehydration! :-/
 
Well hi there. *waving back vigorously*. Was worried wagon was no longer in sight for you. Happy you're doing so well. It doesnt matter if you are in or out of ketosis (save for the pain you're in of course!) but every day on plan is a weight loss day. A step in the right direction. WELL DONE.

P.s. I dont want to burst your bubble but would you thiink of going ws til the wedding over and then commit to ts?? Seems like a lot of trouble getting into ketosis now knowing your going to the wedding in like two weeks. Am i off target here??

Hiii Belle :D I thought about WS, but can't afford to do it lol got no money til the 23rd and no food in the house cos I purposely gave it all to my parents so there was no temptation :) I'm hoping to stick to TS and just see how much I lose before next week, then will be back on it next sat methinks :) Although, I've had a bit of a WS day today, because I had some mince in the freezer that needed using up, so had some of that with some bouillon...... wasn't the best..... lol! Thinking after the wedding I might do a WS day every week, or something like that, because then I hopefully won't be tempted to fall of said wagon :) Buuuuut, the reason TS is good for me is that I know the boundaries of what I can have and what I can't, and with WS they get a little blurred, which might not be good...... But not sure yet, I like TS, its just whenever I get any extra money, especially when I'm out and about, I'm always tempted by food that I wouldn't be tempted by if I had no money, because I wouldn't be able to buy it.... ohhh I'm abit useless really lol!

Hii :) Still doing ok :) still on plan, although had 2 packs already today cos I was up ridiculously early, so will probably end up having an extra pack later! Really tempted to weigh today, but might just leave it til tuesday now! Hows things with you? :) x
 
I KNEW I shouldn't have weighed today :( :( :( put on 4lbs! :( and to top it all off, now binged on more food, which is how I put the 4lbs on in the first place.... :( but 4lbs!!! When I was off plan for 3 weeks I only put on 7, so in 7 days to have put on 4..... I'm just disgusted with myself :( :( :(
 
Steelee, don't beat yourself up. Just try to get back on track straight away (and definitely don't think: well I've blown today already, might as well make the most of it - my speciality!) I think the way to win at this is to look forward and not dwell on any mishaps. If you can get back on track after a blip it shows a lot of strength.
Also the 4 lbs is probably just a replenished glycogen store not real weight gain.

Hi how are you? Please don't be too hard on yourself. Look at this as a learning curve. You ate to make yourself feel better, for comfort and it's swung right back round on you. This is where you can learn from it. We all need to learn new coping mechanisms. I used to eat to comfort myself. I used to eat through boredom, I used to eat to celebrate and to be honest I'm still not out of those habits but I'm trying to condition my mind to find other rewards or other comforts. If your not already then get back on plan. Even if you've woken up and eaten already then make your next few meals your packs. Go on the success stories section of minimins and read some inspirational stories. These always never fail to motivate me. If they can do it so can I.

Hope you're doing ok? Dust yourself off and crack on. You've got all the support you need on here so everytime you feel like you're going to fall.... Get posting xxxx
 
Aw thanks for all your comments, I've been good and stuck to plan since the blip on thurs, but coming off plan tomorrow for a few days because I've got a wedding to go to, and plan to enjoy my few days at home :) I'll be back friday though! And think I'll start a new diary, for graduation in July :) Hope everyone is ok and had a good Easter! Will be back Friday! :) x
 
Just popping in to say hello :D Have a great time at the wedding, and we'll see you back here in a few days.
Try not to worry about temporary gains though - I'm on a planned break from Exante at the moment, and yesterday was my first day off-plan. I didn't binge, or eat massive portions - I wasn't a saint, but I was really restrained compared to other times!
And this mornig I weighed myself to find that I've gained 3lbs! I'm not worried by that though, because I know that it's just my glycogen stores being replaced and there's NO WAY I ate enough extra calories to gain 3lbs of pure fat. This is the curse of a VLCD diet unfortunately, we get the BIG first week losses, but also the gains when we waver.
Anyway, enough rambling from me! Have a lovely few days off :)

Hey Steeleee just been reading your diary you are doing so well even the blips as you know what you are doing. Having 8 tone 5lb to loose i have a long journey to i know it will be hard but maybe we can encourage each other along our journeys. You have done soooo well and i know you can do this xx
